It was a momentous and eventful night as Yamaha's Josh Hill finally made
his way to the top spot on the podium, scoring his first ever AMA
Supercross win. It was an emotional victory for the Oregon native whose
Grandfather made the long trek to Minneapolis to see his grandson take
his first ever checkered flag. After battling with fellow WMG Athlete's
Chad Reed and Davi Millsaps all night long, Josh proved to be the best
rider that night as he rode away from the pack and on to victory. "I
couldn't be more excited" said an ecstatic Hill afterwards, adding: "my
Grandpa always said he'd be there for my first Supercross victory so
having him here makes it all the more special. It feels so good to get
that first win out of the way." The 2008 AMA Supercross season now
takes a week off before returning to Toronto on March 29th for the next
round.

Josh would like tto thank his sponsors: Yamaha, Thor, Parts Unlimited,
Monster Energy, Dragon, Boost Mobile, DC Shoes and Alpinestars.
