he Memphis Shades Demon is one of the most popular handlebar-mount windshields out there. Riders love the shape and the additional coverage it offers. They also said they’d like to see that windshield with a quick-release Trigger Lock Mount. That way they’d not only have the Demon, they’d have the whole Memphis Shades Sportshield lineup at their fingertips. The Big Shot, the Alley Cat, the Pop Top, they’d be able to use them all–and keep the Demon.
They can do it now. The “Speed Demon” is just out. It’s that familiar and popular Demon size and shape–and it’s Trigger Lock mountable. Memphis Shades took the Demon and produced it in a Sportshield with the Trigger Lock mounting system.
The new Speed Demon has a new look, too. Not only is it a Trigger Lock mount, it’s more streamlined overall. And with those distinctive Demon side flairs it offers just that little bit of extra coverage. The Speed Demon measures a generous 21-inches wide and 18-inches in height and there are models with either a 7-inch or 9-inch headlight cutout. Like every other Memphis Shades windshield it’s made of tough Lucite® with excellent optics and durability and it’s offered in both Black and Solar Tint.
Offering the Speed Demon with the Trigger Lock mount is a big deal. Now riders can have that Demon and lots of other Memphis Shades windshields, too. Flip a couple latches and the change is made in seconds. And the Trigger Lock hardware is pretty streamlined itself. This isn’t some rubber mount that can loosen up over time. Once those Memphis Shades latches click shut they’re locked shut. Everything is built to last, too, from the aluminum anchoring hardware to the gray polymer bushings to the tough glass-filled Nylon latches themselves. And this docking hardware is adjustable. It’ll accommodate a variety of windshield sizes and rider preferences. It even offers a pitch adjustment over a minimum 8-degree range to custom-tailor the windshield fit to the bike and the rider.
And now all that’s available for the Demon, the most popular style of Memphis Shades handlebar-mount windshield. It’s the “Speed Demon,” and Parts Unlimited has it now.
