Larry Pegram is making a run for the 2008 AMA Formula Extreme Championship aboard his LeoVince Pegram Racing Ducati 848.

arry Pegram’s father Jim was a racer–he placed 10th in the 1967 Daytona 200. His grandfather Jan was a racer, wrestling Harleys around rough dirt tracks and up even rougher hillclimbs. So when Larry makes his run for the AMA Formula Extreme Championship on his LeoVince Pegram Racing Ducati 848, he’s not just racing for himself–he’s upholding a family tradition that goes back more than 50 years.
It’s the same for the three generations of the Mollo family, founders of LeoVince SBK; since 1954 their passion has been creating state-of-the-art, hand-crafted exhaust systems, helping real racers like Larry Pegram–and you–make history of your own.
Like his grandfather and father before him, Larry Pegram never gives less than his best. And like Larry, you can always count on the same commitment from LeoVince.
To learn more about what is “In Our Blood” just look at some of the amazing LeoVince products you can bolt onto your machine. LeoVince’s SBK Factory racing slip-on for the new Honda CBR1000RR is a good example. It provides substantial weight savings, increased horsepower and an exotic high-end appearance. The special hand-welded serpentine mid-pipe is designed to provide proper pipe volume for maximum performance while keeping mass centralized for improved handling. It is constructed with a TIG-welded stainless steel AISI 304 mid-pipe leading to an all-titanium canister (even the rivets!) with a carbon fiber sleeve, end cap and mounting strap.
Every SBK system is engineered to provide specific power increases where needed throughout the rev range. Mid-pipe length, diameter and shape all play a part as well as the specifics of the can dimensions and internal tuning. While some other makers use just a few canister designs to fit a wide range of motorcycles, LeoVince uses more than 400. All designed to run at peak efficiency with stock fuel injection settings.
All LeoVince SBK systems are the result of experience acquired on world-class competition circuits. LeoVince supports teams competing in MotoGP, World Superbike and Supersport, MX1 and MX2 Motocross, World Enduro and Supermoto. LeoVince’s commitment to racing in the U.S. includes teams in AMA Superbike, Formula Xtreme, Supersport, Supercross, Outdoor MX, and Supermoto. LeoVince riders from Attack Kawasaki and Pegram Ducati swept the top three positions at the 2008 Daytona 200!
LeoVince SBK full systems and slip-ons are available for a wide range of sport bikes, standards, sport tourers and other models; including the newest, just released models of the Japanese and European manufacturers. Because of their connections to racing in Europe, LeoVince often gets hold of test bikes long before the competition. It gives them a nice little edge on providing customers with quality aftermarket exhaust systems at the same time the new machines are released.      LeoVince is a division of Sito Gruppo Industriale based in Monticello d’Alba, Italy. Sito is the largest motorcycle exhaust manufacturer in Europe, so you can count on the European quality and artistic pride of the Italians.
