ere’s a familiar scenario…a customer special-orders a roadrace suit, but when it arrives, it’s too tight, or too big, or just doesn’t fit right. That used to be a big problem…but not anymore!
     Alpinestars’ new “Perfect Fit” Program provides dealers with the opportunity to special-order any Alpinestars road race suit from Parts Unlimited and then exchange the suit for another size without paying a restock fee.      Restock fees on suits could cost the dealer up to $300. However, with Alpinestars’ “Perfect Fit” Program there is never a restock fee. It’s important to Alpinestars that the customer has a “perfect experience” and that they’re completely happy with the Alpinestars suit they’ve invested in.
     The Alpinestars “Perfect Fit” Program was developed to allow the dealer the ability to exchange suit sizes to get the “Perfect Fit” for their customers. A dealer can order an approved 1-piece or 2-piece Alpinestars suit and can exchange it for a different size in the same model and color. A dealer has 30 days from the date of invoice to make the exchange. The program applies to current inventory only, and does not apply to closeout or discontinued products. Also, orders turned in by 3:00PM are usually shipped the same day.
     This program presents a great opportunity for dealers to stock Alpinestars suits in their store for their sport bike customers. The industry is evolving, with more sport bike riders becoming more safety conscious and taking advantage of more and more track days. Most of those customers have to shop for and purchase a suit on-line because so few dealers carry Alpinestars racing suits in their stores. The Alpinestars “Perfect Fit” Program helps allow dealers to profitably stock and sell Alpinestars road racing suits or even step up and become “Road Racing Suit Centers” at a reduced risk with the ability to not just sell the suits, but also everything that goes with it; boots, gloves, underwear, socks, and protection. “Road Racing Suit Centers” are exclusive and another program dealers should discuss with their Parts Unlimited rep.
     With the huge growth in sport bike sales, there has been an equally large increase in track days. Race tracks require full one or two piece suits, and those customers are often disappointed by on-line purchasing, they would much rather try on and buy their suit at your store and take it home without the risk of it not fitting “perfectly.” With more sport bike riders going to track days, there are more amateur road racers. This all means that more customers need road racing suits, gloves, boots, protection, even underwear and socks. The Alpinestars “Perfect Fit” Program helps dealers more easily service their customers with quality racing suits they already want to try on and buy. Here are the details on the program:

Features:
-Exchange privileges (size only) on 1-piece and 2-piece suits for 30 days.
-Maximum 30 day (size only) exchange privileges on 1-piece and 2-piece suits. All other Alpinestars products will not be eligible for 30 day exchange privileges.
-Exchange order is placed at the same time of RA# issuance.

Minimum Order Requirements:
-Purchase any Alpinestars 1-piece and/or 2-piece suit (specific models listed below)
-Eligible 1-piece suits: Race Replica, MX-1, Octane, RC-1, SG-1, S1 suit, Youth suit, Stella Julie.
-Eligible 2-piece suits: RC-1, Octane, SG-1, Stella Octane.
-Order dates: February 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008.

Exchanges:
-Suit orders eligible for 30 day (size only) exchange privileges.
-Model and color exchanges do not apply.
-Exchange size only within 30 days of invoice.

Terms & Policy:
-Suit exchange privileges apply only to 1 and 2-piece suits for 30 days from date of invoice.
-Exchange privileges apply only to size, not to color or model (Ex. 44 for 46).
-Sizing exchange re-order processed at time of RA# issue. Credit issued upon receipt of goods.

-Dealer is responsible for return freight on 30 day exchange suits.
