ots of riders know all about Rinehart Racing exhaust pipes. In all the styles, and especially in the Bagger applications, these pipes are super-hot sellers. The popularity of those Rineharts is easy to figure. The pipes look great, they sound great and they’re genuine performance builders. The Rineharts come steeped in NASCAR tradition, too. They’re a wonderful addition to any Harley. They’re not the least-expensive exhaust a rider can choose, yet plenty of riders have them.
Riders on a budget can have all that Rinehart goodness and coolness, too. All it takes are some Rinehart Slip-ons, and there are more of them now than ever. For 2008 there are four brand-new Rinehart Slip-ons, all “black-out” models and they all look great. Unmistakably Rinehart. There are a couple of new applications for the FL Harley Dressers, one that is completely black with a black End Cap and another that has its black body matched with a chrome plated End Cap. These mufflers fit all the dressers from 1995 right through to 2008. As a special touch these newest FL/Dresser Slip-ons come with a signature oval-shaped “Rinehart Racing” logo prominently placed. It’s a killer look and the new Dresser mufflers are the only ones to have it.
There are two more Rinehart Slip-on mufflers now, as well. The applications here are for Softails, Sportsters and the Dyna models. These “black-outs” are also offered in those two trim finishes, black with a black End Cap and black with an accenting chrome End Cap.
All four of these new Slip-on Rinehart mufflers were just released. They’re all in the Mid-year Catalog and should be available as you read this.
The Slip-on market is a pretty busy place and Rinehart has been in it for a while now. To rave reviews. Besides the obvious improvement in looks and sound, with a Rinehart Slip-on there’s a significant power gain. A major bang for the buck. Rinehart Slip-ons, as an example, can take a stock 38-horsepower Sportster clear up to 51 stormin’ ponies. Besides those new “black out” models there are standard length chrome-plated 3 1/4-inch Slip-ons for Sportsters, Dynas and Softails and there are longer, 3 1/2-inch diameter chrome versions for the FLs and the Softail Deluxe. There’s also an “Eagle Beak” for those FLs and the Softail Springer Classics, and if you haven’t seen that one yet you need to take a look. The Rinehart Eagle Beak is unlike any other exhaust tip available. It’s an original.
Slip-on mufflers deliver nice performance gains at a friendly price. Especially the Rineharts. All of these mufflers use a Venturi Chamber Baffle design for optimum performance throughout the RPM range and all the mufflers–including those new ones–work perfectly with stock headers and heat shields. Installation is fast, it’s easy and all the necessary mounting hardware is included.
Anyone putting on a pair of Rinehart Slip-ons will know he’s just made a big jump up in performance, style and sound–and so will everyone else who sees them. Slip-ons are a quick, easy and tremendously rewarding swap. Especially when that swap is to Rinehart. There are more of them now than ever and they’re all a Drag Specialties exclusive. You know where to go to get them.
