ou’ll often hear it said that it’s a waste of time to sweat the small stuff. But when you’re trying to make a bike stand out from the crowd without breaking the bank, the small stuff gets you the most bang for your buck. Little touches can make a big difference in the way people look at a bike, determining whether they see a plain bike with a few shiny bits tacked on, or one with an integrated style whose subtlety says volumes about the bike’s owner. There are few better ways to get that integrated look than with footpegs, shifter pegs, grips, and mirrors from the Drag/Hotop line from Drag Specialties.
When you think of which parts of a motorcycle are most critical for riding comfort, you usually think of the seat. But anywhere the rider touches the bike for long periods is just as important. Drag/Hotop footpegs feature polished and chrome-plated die-cast construction, and come with soft rubber insets for all-day comfort. They fit just about every model of bike imaginable, and combine comfort and style.
As long as you’re at it, check out the Drag/Hotop shifter pegs. They use the same polished and chrome-plated die-cast construction as Drag/Hotop footpegs, and are styled to complement them. They come with soft rubber insets, too.
For the finishing touch to go with Drag/Hotop footpegs and shifter pegs, wrap your hands around a pair of Drag/Hotop grips. They come with soft rubber insets, feature polished and chrome-plated die-cast construction, and the left-side grip has a set-screw attachment to keep it firmly in place. Drag/Hotop footpegs, grips, and shifter pegs are all available from Drag Specialties.
Sometimes what’s going on behind you is just as important as what’s happening up ahead, and for those times there are two styles of Drag/Hotop rearview mirrors. The first is a pork-chop-style fairing mirror that fits 1996-2008 FLHT models. These chrome die-cast mirrors bolt to the inner fairing and their contour complements the fairing style. They require drilling four 3/16-inch holes in the fairing, and come with all the necessary mounting hardware.
If your bike uses handlebar-mounted mirrors, the Drag/Hotop line has you covered there, too, with an oval mirror that fits most handlebars. It’s machined from billet aluminum, then chrome plated. The mirror head measures 5 inches by 2 inches with a 5 1/4-inch stem. They fit on the right or left side, and mounting hardware is sold separately.
If it’s the minor details that can make or break a bike, that makes those details all the more important. Ask your Drag Specialties sales rep about the entire line of Drag/Hotop parts and accessories, and see how big a difference the small stuff can make.
