n 2008 Jardine Performance Products is celebrating its 50th Anniversary of making quality exhaust systems. Their first system back in 1958 was for Hot Rods. Then in 1972 they made their first motorcycle system and haven’t looked back since. Back then (before modern technology) R&D was done the old fashioned way. Hand build a prototype, run it on the vehicle to see how it performed, make changes and repeat until it “felt” right. But Jardine Performance Products utilized new technology as it came along where now everything is made to NASA specifications. Automated punch presses, CNC tube cutters/benders manipulate high quality metals at incredible rates of speed and accuracy. In one fluid motion, computerized robotic arms plasma cut shapes and weld components together from precisely written computer programs and fixtures. Each system is tested on their in house, state-of-the-art, computerized dyno as well as real world (actually riding and/or racing) testing.
Final assembly includes polishing, plating (or coating) and packaging to deliver to the consumer the finest product possible.
Jardine is proud to have sponsored many of the factory teams over the years (and winning numerous National Championships including Team Honda Roadracing with riders such as Nicky Hayden, Miguel DuHamel and Jake Zemke among others.)
Now Jardine makes a wide variety of exhaust systems for ATVs, dirt bikes, dual sport bikes, sport bikes and cruisers. They range from economical slip-ons to full exhaust systems in aluminum, stainless steel, titanium and even carbon fiber (depending on application). All systems are 100% made in the U.S.A. In addition Jardine makes a line of high quality accessories including quick-detach backrests, light bars, carburetor covers, driveshaft covers, forward controls, highway bars, oil filter covers and relocation kits and passenger floorboards.
