ARN Industries makes ATV and UTV plowing a lot easier with the new Power-Pivot blade angle adjuster. Now there’s no need to leave the seat because the WARN Power-Pivot electric actuator allows plow rotation of up to 25-degrees from center in either direction at the touch of a button on the handlebars.
     A powerful electric motor and durable four-stage planetary gear train in the plow-base-mounted Power-Pivot lets the operator rotate the blade, even while under load. The unique locking design isolates the gear train preventing slippage and creep under load. And the blade angle can still be adjusted manually if required.
     Compatible with any WARN ATV plow–old or new–the Power-Pivot includes color-coded wiring for easy installation, but does require a winch for plow lifting.
Like all other WARN ATV and UTV plow system components, the Power-Pivot is engineered for a long, reliable life. WARN ATV plow blades are constructed from high strength steel and available in 54 and 60-inch widths in both standard and angled configurations as well as a 48-inch standard blade. Reinforced steel UTV plow blades are available in 66 and 72-inch widths. Replaceable wear bars and skids keep all WARN plow blades functioning for many years. And spring-loaded WARN plow blades pivot forward when striking an immovable object to protect the entire assembly from damage.
     WARN plows rotate on a 6-inch diameter bushing plate instead of a single pivot bolt to distribute shock loads across a large area, resulting in smoother operation over a longer service life. And mounting brackets for the WARN plow base attach high on the frame and near the front axles for better ground clearance and increased rigidity. Each mount kit is engineered to fit a specific ATV make and model so there’s no “will-fit” frustrations.
     Both manual and electric actuation are available as alternatives to winch-lift systems. The large selection of WARN plow accessories includes plastic wear bars for concrete and brick applications, blade side walls and top flaps for snow control, and corner markers. Drawing on the company’s leadership in powersports ATV winches, other specialized accessories include application-specific roller fairleads with larger diameter lower rollers to reduce wire rope wear, and rugged synthetic lift rope to seasonally replace wire rope on snow plow rigs.
