C Enterprises is one of those companies that have quietly been producing high quality aftermarket products, building customer loyalty, and generally doing honest business in the motorcycle industry for a long time. In fact, MC Enterprises has been at the leading edge of the motorcycle aftermarket for over 38 years.
It all began in 1970 in the Canoga Park, California garage of the original owner, George Walker, with a set of highway bars for a friend’s BSA. The quality, fit and finish was exceptional and the little garage business quickly expanded to more products and MC Enterprises soon became established as a leader in innovative accessories for high-end Japanese bikes like the Honda Gold Wing. Over the years, as trends in motorcycling changed, MC Enterprises continued to grow and expand their facilities to address new bike models and new styles.
In 2000, the company changed ownership when Bill and Donnell Nichols acquired the business from Walker. Bill brought 32 years of dirt and street riding experience as well as an extensive history in manufacturing and quality control to the table while Donnell contributed her long history in business and financial management.
The MC Enterprises product line-up extends well beyond bolt-on chrome with products like training wheels for mini-motorcycles. Why does a company that makes chrome accessories for metric cruisers make training wheels? Because they pioneered the category beginning with the introduction of their original 100 series in 1976 and continue to dominate the market with their 200 series. Long before the mini-motorcycle boom, MC Enterprises saw the need for training wheels and filled that need with hundreds of thousands of units sold to satisfied customers over the years. They even sponsor Sean Cantrell, an 8-year old Mini National Champion motocrosser who learned to ride at age 2 1/2 with their product. There’s more about Sean on the MC Enterprises website at www.mcenterprises.com.
Another example is their Kool Kovers™. Made of a tough, chrome plated GFP™ polymer and designed specifically for metric fasteners, Kool Kovers™ just press on and instantly convert all those ugly bolt heads and nuts into more chrome. Recently made available in bulk packaging so dealers can sell them individually or in packs.
Perhaps their greatest asset is a dedicated and knowledgeable customer support team, available via email or a toll-free phone number. When you call during business hours, you’ll talk to a live person that is prepared to help you, not routed through a frustrating, endless maze of voicemails.
Serving the industry with rapid fulfillment of any of their top quality products through their new 48,562 square-foot, state of the art office and manufacturing space in California is a top priority. This building represents the future for MC Enterprises and their commitment to build high quality, American-made accessories for your motorcycles.
