uperTrapp is a leading manufacturer of comprehensive performance exhaust systems for a variety of motor vehicle applications, including motorcycles, ATV and automotive. SuperTrapp also manufactures the Kerker brand of exhaust systems.
The main reason so many riders swear by SuperTrapp is due to the patented Tunable Disc Technology created by inventor Paul Moller in 1971. SuperTrapp’s Tunable Disc Technology allows riders to add or subtract discs to customize their exhaust to the current riding environment as well as achieve the desired “sound” of their exhaust.
If a rider is looking for more horsepower, they can add more discs to increase the exhaust outlet and decrease backpressure. This widens the powerband at the top end and also increases exhaust tone and leans out carburetion.
Other riders will want to remove discs to decrease the exhaust opening and increase backpressure. This effectively decreases the      powerband to create more low-end torque and decreases exhaust tone while enriching carburetion.
How a rider tunes his or her SuperTrapp is up to them, but each product comes with instructions that recommend a number of discs for each application. Adding and removing discs is a simple and quick process and a SuperTrapp customer service representative is always available to answer any questions.

ost people think that anybody can make an aftermarket exhaust system. In the industry, it is often joked that anyone with a hacksaw and a welder can do it. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Designing and producing a high quality, great performing aftermarket exhaust system is a lengthy and involved process.
SuperTrapp’s development of the MudSlinger was a process that began by doing some rather thorough benchmarking. First, the stock vehicles and exhausts were tested on a state of the art dyno to determine detailed horsepower and torque information as well as air to fuel ratio measurements. The air to fuel ratio measurements gave a very precise readout of how efficient the combustion process is occurring throughout the RPM test range. After this initial testing, further work was done to establish stock sound level readings and flow characteristics. The weight of the stock system was also measured for future comparison.
SuperTrapp’s newest exhaust was developed specifically for large displacement ATVs. Having made high performance sportbike exhausts through its Kerker product line for over 20 years, SuperTrapp prototyped the MudSlinger using this proven street technology.
This rugged exhaust, with its polished stainless steel outer body has an aluminum end cap that not only looks cool, but will hold up to the abuse that aggressive ATV riders can dish out. The mechanical core offers a dramatic increase in torque and throttle response. It utilizes “Pillow Pack” packing for the ultimate in durability along with superior silencing. An optional snorkel kit is also available.
Sound is a big issue these days and it is very important that it is properly controlled. The MudSlinger is equipped with a removable USFS Approved Spark Arrestor and has an aggressive tone, yet is 96dB and forestry legal.
All MudSlinger models come complete with clear instructions and all hardware, which eliminates guesswork by lending bolt on power right out of the box. Available for Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Arctic Cat and CanAm models.

Want to be first off the line? Then you need torque and there is no better way to get it than with a SuperTrapp IDS2 exhaust! Now that you are in the lead, to stay there you are going to need all the flat out horsepower you can get. A properly tuned SuperTrapp exhaust will deliver a balance of both! This legendary Forest Service approved spark arrestor disc technology has been winning races for over 30 years and it will help you win too. Made from lightweight aluminum, stainless steel discs and space age fiber packing, the IDS2 will look and perform great no matter how many times you are on the podium.

aturally, SuperTrapp kept racers and trail riders in mind. SuperTrapp race exhaust series was designed by ATV engine building legend, Tom Carlson. Carlson, a master ATV engine builder for 20 years, promises the exhaust has a little something for everyone. “I’m so proud of this pipe,” he said. “It’s a great fit for either trail riders or racers and it’s a real ‘eye-grabber.’”
The SuperTrapp TC Racing exhaust is designed with a stepped-headpipe system, allowing riders to maintain broad power delivery throughout the powerband. Far quieter than most pipes on the ATV racing circuit, the exhaust features SuperTrapp’s patented tunable disc technology, which allows riders to add discs to increase horsepower and exhaust tone or remove them to increase low-end torque and reduce sound.
Although it may be quiet, it’s still deadly in the performance department. Carlson promises the exhaust delivers acceleration power in spades: “This pipe will rip your arms right off,” he joked.
