RYDE FX AIR 2.0 SPRINGLESS SHOCK ABSORBERS
AIR 2.0 springless shock absorbers set a new standard in damper design
Patented oil porting and internal cylinder design incorporates twin gas chambers that provide dual-rate spring rate adjustability
Design eliminates the need for external gas chambers that are more susceptible to air leakage
Larger 47mm internal aluminum cylinder can be set in a range of 50–100 psi to allow adjustment of front end suspension sag and for an initial lower “spring rate” in the first 1-inch to 1.5-inch of shock stroke
The second 37mm hardened chrome cylinder doubles as the shock damper rod; lubricates shock shaft seals and serves as an ice scraper device
Gas chamber within the 37mm cylinder can be set in a range of 120–220 psi to allow for a stiffer “spring rate” for the remaining shock stroke
Integration of the two cylinders within a single shock body also combines light weight and responsiveness for high-speed handling and rough trail riding, plus a high level of rider comfort
Design also eliminates approximately 1 lb. from each corner of the snowmobile’s front suspension
