The Fast Shields are brand-new, just now hitting the Parts Unlimited warehouses, and there isn’t a rider who won’t want one–or all four. The Fast Shields “sunglasses for your helmet” make so much sense and, clippingin-and-out of most any helmet on the market, they’re easy to carry and easy to use.The Fast Shields are one of those great ideas born out of necessity. Everyone’s familiar with the scenario; you leave the house on a sunny morning with that tinted shield mounted on your helmet, then comes sunset and you have two choices: either head for home or swap out that tinted shield for the clear one you’ve been packingall day, not so conveniently, either. No more. With a tinted AFX Fast Shield clipped into your helmet behind that clear shield you have sun protection all day long and then when the time comes simply slip it out of the helmet and tuck it into your pocket. It even comes with a neat little carrying bag. Problem solved, the ride continues. Ingenious, isn’t it? The Fast Shields are superportable, scratchresistant, UV protected and the simple, universal design allows installation and removal in seconds. Three quick-clips hold it in place between the liner and the $19.95 retail includes spare attachment clips and that little carrying bag for the shield when it’s are four tints offered, Blue Mirror, Silver Mirror, Rainbow or Smoke, and the Fast Shields come in two sizes, Small and Large. AFX has about every helmet brand and style they could get their hands on and about 80-percent of the time the Large Fast Shield was the correct fit. And the Fast Shield works on just about every brand and style of helmet, except, of long as it’s half-coverage or larger the Fast Shield will fit. Most times there’s no problem wearing glasses behind a Fast Shield, either. The Fast Shield mounts out at the edge of most helmets’ rubber molding leaving plenty of nose protector for comfort. You don’t have to order the full display to get a Fast Shield, though. They’re available in any number you choose, starting with one. Parts Unlimited will sell them individually if that’s what you want. But one isn’t going to be nearly enough, not when riders get a look at this. And that Fast Shields Display Stand is too good a deal to pass up; the price for the stand loaded with 20 shields is exactly the same as the price of20 shields. The display is free.
