or a quarter century ITP has been the innovator in ATV wheels and tires. ITP sets the mark and the pace, and after 25 years, nothing about that has changed. Every season ITP comes up with new and innovative wheels and tires for virtually all of the ATV and Utility Vehicle applications. Take a look at what’s new for 2007.
First off, there’s a matched pair of brand-new 8-Spoke SS Alloy Wheels. They’re offered in two new sizes. ITP has also just announced the T7 Beadlock Wheel, bringing all of the benefits of a beadlock to the popular and proven C-Series Type 7 One-Piece Aluminum Wheel lineup. Then there’s the all-new Holeshot SR, a Sport Radial Trail Tire combining ITP’s proven and popular Holeshot performance with the indisputable performance features of radial tire design. Ever the innovators, ITP has done it again.
Take a look at those SS108 Wheels, the new 8-spokers. They’re available for most late-model 4 x 4 Sport/Utility ATVs as well as the Side-by-Side UTVs like the Yamaha Rhino. They’re offered in the popular 12 x 7 size as well as a unique 14 x 6 and 14 x 8 size designed specifically to be a matched front-and-rear set. Those two new sizes provide a more precise fit for (and make the most of) all those 26- and 27-inch radial tires, too. The 14-inch SS108s will be a great choice for the UTVs; they’re ready to work with a 650-pound load rating. And with all of this coming from ITP, of course the new SS108 Alloy line is available in those convenient, pre-mounted tire/wheel kits you’ve come to expect. The new wheels can be teamed up with a choice of ITP’s ever-popular Mud Lite XLs, the Mud Lite XTRs and the TerraCross R/T tires.

The new SS108s not only look great, they’re plenty tough as well. Just like the original ITP SS Alloy Series Wheels, the SS106 and SS112, the SS108s are manufactured with ITP’s ultra-high-tech Advancecast process. This is a manufacturing technique producing an incredibly strong yet still lightweight one-piece aluminum wheel. And they mean really strong. All of the ITP SS Alloys have proven so durable they’re backed with a Lifetime Structural Warranty. If you bend it or break it ITP will replace it. Simple as that. The new 8-Spoke SS108 is available in a couple of great-looking finishes, too. There’s a bright, diamond-cut machined finish with black accents (topped with a protective clear coat), and there’s a dramatic Satin Black. Just like the original SS Alloy SS106 and SS112 a custom “SS” wheel cap is included here, too.
Then there’s that other new wheel just out from ITP, the T7 Beadlock. You already know how popular those C-Series Type 7 One-Piece Aluminum Wheels are. This season all that is even better. In yet another ATV innovation ITP has combined the proven and popular C-Series technology and performance with the benefits of a beadlock design. It’s the T7 Beadlock and it features a billet outer ring to literally clamp the tire to the wheel. The result: a greatly reduced risk of tire de-beading when the pressures are dropped down or when the tire is subjected to heavy side loads. As an added benefit that beadlock ring further strengthens a wheel that’s already known for its rugged durability.
The T7 Beadlock, of course, is also manufactured using that ITP exclusive Advancecast process. The wheel meets rigorous QS 9000 quality specifications and it shines with a stunning Polished Finish. There’s an optional Satin Black version accented with a polished beadlock ring available, too. The T7 Beadlock comes in 12 x 7 and 14 x 7 sizes so it’ll fit all the popular Sport-Utility ATVs and Side-by-Side UTVs. There are style options to go with those finish choices, too. Along with the standard polished beadlock ring, that ring is also offered in Black, Blue or Red powder coat for a mix-and-match custom look to accent or coordinate with just about any machine.
Those are the new wheels. Here’s the new tire. It’s the Holeshot SR, with “SR” standing for Sport Radial. This new trail tire blends ITP Holeshot performance with all the ride and handling benefits of a radial. The Holeshot SR has a 4-ply rating and it’s offered in two sizes–a 21/7R10 front and 20 x 11R9 rear. It’s perfect for most late-model sport ATVs. And because it’s a radial, compared to a standard bias-ply tire, the Holeshot SR serves up a much more comfortable ride and exceptional traction over a wide variety of terrain conditions. The tread pattern is based on ITP’s split-knob design with the Holeshot SR’s dual-siped (thinly cut) knobs offering great acceleration on intermediate to hard-packed surfaces. The tire’s lightweight/low-profile design delivers quick MX-style handling and the widely spaced knobs are great for predictable slides and braking. They’re also self-cleaning on the loose stuff. A long-wearing tread compound assures that the Holeshot SR will stay around for a while, too.
All this is available right now. Parts Unlimited has it all, those new SS 108 Alloy Wheels, the T7 Beadlocks and the Holeshot SR. ITP calls it all “the perfect fusion of style and performance.” Maybe so, but it’s sure one more example of ITP’s innovation, style and ability to exceed the expectations. But it’s been that way for 25 years. Check with your rep.
