veryone knows the benefits of a Power Commander. A PCIIIUSB is required equipment when things get changed on a bike. Put on a new pipe and filter and a Power Commander goes on, too. It’s the accepted re-mapping system to get that fuel/air ratio back where it belongs. Even without other changes taking place, a PCIIIUSB can make a bike run better, respond crisper, and be more fuel-efficient. A Power Commander is an easy sale.
     Don’t stop there. Dynojet has a whole host of add-on accessories to make the Power Commander experience even stronger. There are accessories allowing the storage of multiple tuning maps. There are accessories turning that Power Commander into a full-on racebike shifter. There are add-on ignition tuning modules for custom ignition timing.      The LCD Display is the latest accessory out. It features a “Touch Screen” interface, connects up to any PCIIIUSB and stays right on the bike. As the name suggests the LCD Display shows all available data from the Power Commander, letting a rider know exactly what’s happening with his PCIIIUSB at all times and in all conditions. Multiple tuning maps can be stored on an SD memory card (not included) and those maps can be sent directly to the Power Commander on-the-fly. Push a couple buttons and you have a whole new tuning dynamic when you want it. You can add more maps any time you want, too, and everything’s adjustable with simple controls right on the module’s face. The LCD Display also logs in all the data being displayed for analysis and everything’s in “real-time,” great for diagnostics.
     Then there’s the Quick Shifter. Have any racy customers? The Dynojet Quick Shifter (DQS) add-on gives them full throttle, clutchless shifting. The DQS momentarily cuts fuel to the injectors to unload the transmission so a rider can shift up to the next gear without rolling off the throttle or using the clutch. The amount of “kill time” is adjustable, a minimum RPM can be set and there are three choices of switches to activate things: a Shift Rod Pressure/Tension Sensor, a Linear Travel Sensor, and a Handlebar Mount Switch.
     Dynojet’s Ignition Module can be added to select PCIIIUSB models, too. The payoff here is a high degree of timing adjustment. Not only can a rider advance or retard the ignition curve based on a combination of throttle position and RPM, each cylinder can be tuned individually. The Ignition Module also features Dynojet’s “Rev X-tend” on select models to increase the RPM limit of an engine without modifying the ECU.
     And there’s the Multi-Function Hub to link all of this together. It has a few advanced features of its own, too. There’s a Boost Input adjustment, for instance, helpful on turbocharged applications. This allows the fuel to automatically increase with boost level. There’s also a Handle Bar Map Switch, Gear Position/Speed Input for fuel & ignition timing adjustment, and an Analog Output can be used to activate any number of things such as shift lights, Nitrous Oxide systems or air shifters.
     Selling a Power Commander has become almost second nature. Everyone knows what they can do. Don’t stop there.
