And they’re not just any ordinary aftermarket pressure plates, either. Barnett has attached a tempered steel surface that they guarantee will never wear out to their CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum pressure plate to create an incredibly durable product that could likely be the last one your customer ever needs to buy. Yet it weighs only literally a couple of ounces more than a stock pressure plate. This new product complements Barnett’s off-road billet clutch baskets. CNC-machined from aerospace grade aluminum, they feature exclusive stainless steel inserts to eliminate wear from the clutch plate tabs and increase basket life. Oil passage windows are machined into the basket to provide greater oil flow for cooler operating temperatures and longer clutch life.
