ynojet’s LCD Display is just out. This latest accessory for the Power Commander is something every rider using a PC III will want to know all about. The LCD Display brings a level of user-friendly functionality to the Power Commander that’s tough to beat. It connects right up to any Power Commander USB via a quick-disconnect cable, it stays right on the bike and it’s weather resistant. That’s just the installation. What it does gets lots better.
The new LCD Display–as the name suggests–will display all available data from the Power Commander letting a rider know exactly what’s happening with his Power Commander at all times and in all conditions. That alone is plenty useful, but it’s just the beginning of what’s possible with the new LCD Display. Multiple tuning maps can be stored in the LCD Display (SD card required), and those maps can then be sent directly to the Power Commander on-the-fly. Out on the highway doing some extended cruising, like running to Sturgis or Daytona? Shoot a map specifically written to bring the best possible mileage right to the PC III. How about when you’re doing some around-town running where spirited stoplight-to-stoplight acceleration is the top demand? The LCD Display can hold that specific map, too, the one written for max performance. Using the LCD Display you just push a couple buttons and you have a whole new tuning dynamic when you want it. The SD Memory Card Slot allows data storage for a number of different maps, and you can add more at any time. All those stored maps can easily be adjusted using simple controls set right on the display module’s face, too.
The LCD Display also has the ability to log all the data being displayed for later analysis. It’s an invaluable tuning aid. All that Power Commander data is displayed in “real-time,” too, great for diagnostics.
As quickly and easily as the LCD Display mounts, it’s just as easily removed for custom programming with a desktop computer. All those extra maps can be loaded, stored and all that real-time data viewed with the supplied software. As new functions, screens and features become available the LCD Display can be user-upgraded, too. There are free downloads on the Dynojet/Power Commander websites.
Storing and switching between multiple tuning maps, on-screen map adjustments, real-time data logging, USB programmable and upgradeable and user-configurable screens controlling it all–the Power Commander LCD Display brings a whole new level of functionality to the already indispensable PC III USB. Your customers will love it! Make it a package deal when you sell and set up a Power Commander which, of course, already works with any pipe, includes Dynojet’s Rev X-tend (a $200 value all by itself), allows custom ignition timing, individual cylinder trim and includes an “accelerator pump” fine adjustment. Put the LCD Display on top of all this and you’ve got an unbeatable combination.
