White Brothers is the “official exhaust” of Chad Reed, here contesting the X Games Supermoto in 2006. In 2007, Reed will be aboard the newly founded “Team L&M” Yamaha…still powered by White Brothers.

hite Brothers has entered what they feel is a very exciting stage of their business. Nearly a year has passed since making the transition from distribution to pure manufacturing. The company has in place an all-new management team that consists of well-known and experienced industry experts. White Brothers is focused on building their brand in three key product categories: four stroke performance exhaust systems, four stroke performance engine development, and custom wheels and sprockets.
Marketing these products is a key focus and these efforts are being led by Bret Snider, who joined White Brothers in July of this year. Bret previously worked at Honda R&D America’s Inc where he led off-road motorcycle product planning. Engine development is headed by Tom Morgan, a highly regarded engine tuner who began perfecting his skills with Team Kawasaki in the 80’s. Together Snider and Morgan have successfully assembled an Amateur Motocross Team for White Brothers that is backed by Yamaha, Thor and Dunlop. The team will attend all major Amateur Nationals with a handful of the top up and coming young amateurs. The team will serve multiple roles for the company, primarily it will enable White Brothers to field test their branded performance products. It will also be the cornerstone of Bret Snider’s marketing campaign.
Another key figure in White Brothers management team is Alan Olson. Alan is recently best known for his role as Chad Reed’s chief mechanic during his successful 2005-2006 Supercross season, where Factory Yamaha exclusively ran White Brother’s flagship exhaust system–The Carbon Pro. Alan recently helped White Brothers negotiate a continued contract with Yamaha to develop and supply exhaust systems for their five-man Factory Team for the next two seasons. The technology developed for the factory team will trickle down throughout the entire White Brothers exhaust line-up and Alan will obviously play a key role in this process. A main focus of their current development is to reduce Db levels while maintaining optimum performance.
White Brothers primary focus is on the grass-roots level of the sport and their slogan is “Engineered Performance.” All product application development begins with dyno testing and is followed by track testing once baseline settings are established. Once the specifications are set and the parts are put into production the company can do long-term real world field testing utilizing their amateur race team. Any issues that arise can be immediately addressed and remedied by their in-house R&D department. This all ensures the end user is purchasing a well thought out and proven performance product.
The transition from distribution to manufacturing has been challenging but at nearly one year after the change now, White Brothers is excited and optimistic about their future. They now have the machines and technology to develop and produce their own products in-house. Just as important, they have the manpower with the experience and passion to offer consumers a proven product that is field tested at all levels of motorcycle competition.
With everything in place, White Brothers has prepared a well thought out and executed business plan that will ensure success for everyone associated with their company, from racers, to dealers, to your customers. Talk to your Parts Unlimited rep about White Brothers today.
