his past October, Supercross legend Jeremy McGrath put on the 1st Annual Jeremy McGrath Invitational. This two-day race program featured not only traditional Supercross races, but also very unique Head-to-Head Single Elimination Bracket Races, Freestyle exhibitions and more! The track was unlike anything every used before at a Supercross, with the addition of a few monster metal ramps, and the race offered the largest purse in Supercross history at $500,000. There was plenty of great action at the Home Depot Center over the weekend. Check out some of the highlights...

McGrath revs up the crowd on Friday night. Unfortunately, Jeremy crashed hard early in Friday night's program, and was unable to race for the rest of the weekend. It was later discovered that MC had broken a vertebrae in his neck. Steve Bruhn photo.

The head-to-head bracket racing was pretty cool! Here, Josh Grant has made it to the final elimination race with Kevin Windham. Grant was on a 250F and certainly held his own against the 450s! Steve Bruhn photo.

During the head-to-head race between Pastrana and Josh Hansen, Travis surprised the crowd (and Hansen!) when he threw a backflip off the first ramp. He didn't win the race, but the fans loved it! Steve Bruhn photo.
