Bridgestone swept the podium in the final standings of the 2006 AMA Supercross Series, with Ricky Carmichael taking home the title, followed by James Stewart in second and Chad Reed in third.

icky Carmichael, Chad Reed, James Stewart and Ivan Tedesco–all household names in professional Supercross. They all race and win on Bridgestone tires. In fact, over the past 13 years Bridgestone tires have won more AMA Pro Motocross and Supercross championships than all other tire manufacturers combined.
Take a look at what’s happening in the world of Enduro, Cross Country and Dual-Sport performance riding. It’s another Bridgestone success story. They’ve filtered everything they’ve learned from all of this right into a full lineup of ED-series tires for the U.S. market, both D.O.T. approved and pure competition.
Bridgestone’s making lots of noise in the MotoGP Series, too, with some fantastic results. The first round of the 2006 season was won by Bridgestone, Ducati and Loris Capirossi. Teams Suzuki, Kawasaki and Ducati all race on Bridgestones, and the stunning performances turned in by Capirossi, Sete Gibernau, John Hopkins, Chris Vermeulen, Shinya Nakano and Randy de Puniet serve as notice that Bridgestone is serious and here to win. All of this shows up in the Battlax lineup of High Performance Street Radials, the BT-014s, the Super Sport Radial BT-012SS tires, the Race & Track Radial BT-002 tires and      the Sport Radial Battlax OE Ultra High Performance Sport Radials. All tires the most aggressive riders demand.
Don’t forget about the V-twin cruiser market either, metric and domestic. Bridgestones perform here, too. The goal this time was a high-performance/high mileage cruiser tire with confidence-inspiring stability and exceptional grip. Bridgestone’s answer: the Exedra G850/G851 combination, tires designed specially for these high-performance cruiser bikes. Mission accomplished.
See a pattern in all this? Looking back over 2006 more often than not it was Bridgestone doing the winning and the performing. And that’s what sells.
Take all those Bridgestones for Motocross and Supercross. The M201/M202s, the do-it-all M401/M402s and the M601/M602 combo sets are available in all the sizes and they’re ready for anything, soft-, intermediate- or hard-terrain. Bridgestone’s got plenty for those hot performing 4-Strokes, too, once again coming in all the sizes these bikes demand.
That Bridgestone Enduro/Cross Country/Dual Sport lineup is no less impressive. With the ED03/ED04 combo aimed primarily at street use and the ED663/ED668s targeted for 80% off-road/20% street, Bridgestone has it covered with tires serious trail and Enduro riders want. It’s the same story with the sport-riding market, sport touring and the cruisers. No matter the application or situation, whether it’s high-performance street, high-flying MX or SX, serious sportbike track work or just cruising those long and winding roads Bridgestone has the ultra-impressive performer every time. And all of this is just going to get better in 2007. As good as all those Bridgestones are, as popular and successful as they’ve been in ‘06, there’s lots of new, exciting and even better product right around the corner. Stay tuned to Bridgestone this season. It’s going to be a wild–and winning–ride. That’s a guarantee. Call your Parts Unlimited rep for more information on all that Bridgestone has to offer.
