obra Engineering has once again jumped to the forefront with new products for the 2007 Harley-Davidsons. The Yorba Linda, California based company has introduced and already shipped to Drag Specialties new exhaust systems, all of which have the bungs for “O2” sensors in place. And just as important it has introduced the new Fi2000 O2 fuel-injection tuner that incorporates the stock bike’s oxygen sensors and utilizes the closed loop technology that is used on the stock 2007 Harleys.
“Because the 2007 Harley-Davidson model lineup is entirely fuel-injected and uses a closed-loop system,” says Tim McCool, President of Cobra Engineering, “we developed the new Fi2000R O2 to allow riders to tune their engine’s fuel while using the factory oxygen sensors to meet emission requirements. It really is one of the best Fi solutions available to riders.”
The Fi2000R O2 retains the same ease of use and installation as the rest of the Fi2000R model line-up. Each also comes preset for individual make and model, so users should not have to do anything other than plug in the unit and ride.
The new 2007 Harley engines utilizing oxygen sensors and closed-loop technology possess very lean air/fuel mixtures. This leanness can rob power and make the engines run very hot. The Fi2000 O2 digital fuel processor is designed to work with all Harley exhaust systems (stock or aftermarket) equipped with oxygen sensors in place. It accurately adjusts the fuel-injected engine’s air/fuel ratio in order for it to run properly. Best of all it works much like a carburetor jet kit with adjustments similar to the air-mixture screw, the needle and clip positions and the main jet.

Cobra’s 2007 exhaust systems make a great companion to the Fi2000 O2 because every one of the systems come with oxygen sensor bungs in place so consumers can retain the closed-loop technology of the stock motorcycle. Cobra was one of the first companies to deliver this full-range of products into the marketplace.
“We saw a great advantage for our product because it allows the rider to retain and benefit from the stock closed-loop system monitored by oxygen sensors,” says Tim McCool, President of Cobra Engineering. “Our new 2007 exhaust systems help owners retain the best of the stock machine’s new technology while still being able to customize their bikes.”
In addition to the O2 bungs, riders can expect the same great sound and quality they’ve come to expect from the Cobra line. In fact these exhaust systems come with the industry’s only limited lifetime warranty that covers manufacturing defects as well as discoloration.
The pipes are available in the top-of-the-line $589.95 Speedsters (a classic two-into-two shot-gun style, with full-length heat shields and chromed billet tips), the $479.95 Dragsters (with the traditional staggered look), and the $489.95 PowerPro 2-into-1 with its stylish megaphone muffler body (available as well with the $499.95 PowerPro HP with its canister-shaped muffler capped by its 3.75-inch chromed billet tip). Below is fitment information:
