All current Memphis Shades windshields will fit this new quick-release trigger-lock mounting hardware.

This new Memphis Shades mounting systems makes changing and mounting those Memphis Shades windshields faster and easier ever...no tools needed!

ider acceptance of the Memphis Shades “Trigger Lock” mounting kits has been phenomenal. Have you seen ‘em yet? The Memphis Shades road crew has already brought these new kits to rallies all across the country and everyone who sees one wants one. The Trigger Lock has proven itself to be an overwhelmingly popular design and new applications are coming fast and furious.
If you haven’t yet seen the Trigger Lock you’re in for a treat. A brand-new Memphis Shades mounting system, this hardware system uses a pair of spring-loaded/trigger-operated latches to mount those Memphis Shades windshields quicker than ever, doing it just as securely as ever and all without tools. Any Memphis shades windshield currently in use, everything from the Memphis Fats and Memphis Slims to the whole      Sportshield lineup, fits right up to this quick release Trigger Lock mounting hardware. The same Memphis Shades windshields you’ve sold for years now work better than ever.      And the Trigger Lock looks great. The whole mounting system has a clean, aircraft appearance. It’s an elegant design that works like a dream. Don’t confuse the Trigger Lock with those old friction mounts that loosen up over time, either. There’s no chance of that happening here. Once these Memphis Shades over-center latches are clicked shut they’re locked shut. The windshield is solidly held in place. Releasing the locks is just as easy, and everything from the anchor mounts to the polymer bushings to the tough glass-filled Nylon latches themselves is solidly made and built to last. The Memphis Shades Trigger Lock, in addition to accommodating all those windshield sizes and color options, adjusts vertically either up or down, and this is the only detachable system made anywhere that offers a minimum of 8-degrees adjustment for the forward or rearward pitch. With a Memphis Shades windshield on a Trigger Lock mount you can custom-tailor the windshield fit to the bike and the rider on it.
A number of popular applications for the Trigger Lock are already complete and in distribution. There’s a kit for the 2006 Yamaha Roadliner, there’s another for the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and there’s a kit for the Honda VTX 1300 Retro, the S Model. That one will be in the warehouses and ready for delivery as you read this. That Honda kit, by the way, is big news. According to the folks at Memphis Shades the 1300 Retro is the best-selling windshield kit they offer. Second place isn’t even close. Honda riders, apparently, buy lots of windshields. They’re going to love the Trigger Lock.
And some Trigger Lock multi-fit kits are right around the corner. These are the kits that use adjustable clamps on the forks to fit a number of applications. Design work and prototyping for the anchor hardware is already complete. Memphis Shades has worked out Trigger Lock hardware for the Metric Wide and Metric Narrow applications, Fats/Slims as well as sportshields, and by the Indy Expo they’ll be well into production and readily available. Right now, however, think about those Trigger Lock Kits already in the warehouses–especially that one for the Honda VTX 1300 Retro. Parts Unlimited has them and riders want them.
