ome of the hottest choppers, bobbers and custom motorcycles to gather in one place were seen at the 15th Annual Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show presented by Performance Machine July 15-16, 2006 at the Queen Mary Event Park in Long Beach, California.
At this year’s event featured attractions including Jardine’s World Record Horsepower Dyno Shootout, Performance Machine Calendar Show Bike Building Championship (with cash awards over $70,000), Iron & Lace Calendar Bike Builder Seminars with live music and some of the hottest custom bikes and parts manufacturers in the industry today.
Attendees were treated to some of the top companies in the motorcycle industry, custom motorcycles, parts and accessories. Vendors and manufacturers like Performance Machine, Vance & Hines JIMS Rooke Customs, Jardine, Avon and many more had booths and displays showcasing their newest parts, custom bikes and accessories.
Some of the biggest names in custom bike building were on hand as well: Roland Sands, Jesse Rooke, Russell Mitchell and Chica seemed to be the crowd favorites as their booths were always full of adorning fans and as in years past, builders held seminars throughout the weekend, discussing their style of bike building, answering questions, signing autographs and even throwing in a little humor to keep the crowds wanting more.

Despite the scorching July sun, all in attendance at this year’s Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show seemed to have a great time and the bikes on display were even more impressive than in previous years.

Check out the custom bikes on display at the show…old school, new school, bobbers, rat rods, customs and choppers. This year’s show had it all.

Industrial looking customs were seen throughout the show and on display. This one is no longer running a final drive belt and is now sporting a chain…very old school.

Check out the bikes on display in the Pro Builders class of the bike show. Long and low seems to be a theme among custom builders these days.

The Performance Machine booth was packed with attendees checking out wheels, hand controls and other PM parts and accessories as well as taking in some well-needed shade.
