MF continues to be on the leading edge of performance products for the motorcycle and ATV industry. Victories, titles and championships of every aspect are won almost every weekend by racers riding FMF-equipped machines. And this includes street and road racers.
The primary performance weapon in the FMF street arsenal is the Powercore S street slip-on. PowerCore S mufflers are computer designed, then dyno and rider tested for every application. All of these mufflers have a square, perforated stainless steel inner core, which provides optimum flow and an authoritative sound thanks to FMF’s Hi-Flo technology. The oval to round design provides optimum silencer volume combined with an exclusive Hi-Flo square core to produce its own unique sound and substantial power gains over standard systems. FMF’s exclusive cross weave, multi-element muffler packing provides longevity and maximum sound disbursement. A modular end cap allows for some ‘on the fly’ tuneability and sound modification via modular end cap design. Plus, custom ‘FMF spec’ removable Allen head bolts in the front cap make re-packing maintenance simple, no rivets to drill out and replace!
Remember, dual sport bikes are also street bikes and this is a fast-growing segment. FMF has one of the widest product applications for this segment. There are systems for the DRZ400 Supermoto, KLR650, Suzuki DR 650, KTM SMR applications and the KTM 950 Adventurer mufflers (aluminum and titanium versions). As the pioneer of quiet performance mufflers, FMF raised the bar again in 2005 with the second generation of their Q series mufflers–the Q2. Built from the ground up, the Q2 is a completely new design, engineered for maximum performance while maintaining a sound level at or below 96dB on most models. The Q2 incorporates Factory Forward Engineering to move the muffler closer, centralizing the mass for improved handling characteristics. The new Hi-Flo formed end cap reduces weight and is less prone to damage. The Q2 has an anodized aluminum canister and is lighter and quieter than the original Q. All three models utilize a maintenance free USFS-approved turbine type spark arrestor so there is no screen to clean or burn out. With their free flowing internal baffles and chambers, advanced sound-absorbing materials and now reduced weight, the Q2 is the market leader for low sound/high performance. A perfect fit for your dual sport customers.
For those interested in maximum weight reduction, FMF offers the Ti-Q with a completely new design, engineered for maximum performance while maintaining a sound level at or near 93dB on many models. It also incorporates that Factory Forward Engineering. The new Hi-Flo formed end cap reduces weight and is less prone to damage. The Ti-Q also features titanium construction for strength, durability and weighs less than most moto mufflers, resulting in a much improved horsepower-to-weight ratio over the stock unit. This could be the industrystandard for years to come.

Well-known street freestyle/stunt rider Jason Britton uses FMF’s Powercore S Stunt Can in competition.

FMF is a longtime sponsor of the Corona AMA Superbike Team. This direct involvement with the race team allows FMF to have the best possible testing grounds for their products, ensuring quality and performance for their street/sportbike customers.

FMF doesn’t just talk street, they race and test their products with some of the top riders on pavement. For years, as a sponsor of the Corona Team, FMF toured the AMA Superbike circuit, as a test bed for development of products for their street sportbike riding customers. FMF has been involved with freestyle MX since the beginning with riders such as Brian Deegan, Tommy Clowers, and Seth Enslow. Street freestyle is the cutting edge in extreme motorcycling on pavement and FMF thought it proper to take on some of the most well known athletes in this segment and add them to their roster. For 2006 FMF has sponsored the rising sport of Street Freestyle/Stunt with Jason Britton of Icon fame and Kane Friesen, better known as KaneOne. Jason Britton has already been flying the oval for the 2006 Freestyle/Stunt season. Equipped with his new Powercore S Stunt Can Britton walked away with the longest Stoppie, going a massive 468ft riding the front tire at the recent 2006 Stunt Wars event (400+ entrants).
Team KaneOne has already been be using FMF’s new Powercore S STUNT Street mufflers in exhibitions and competitions, and Kane has already developed some truly nasty and original new tricks as a result. FMF’s ‘new for 2006’ Stunt Cans were developed with the assistance of these two very capable and professional riders. The mufflers still feature FMF’s patented square core internals and the unique oval to round shape but are shorter and more aggressive to satisfy the needs of this riding segment or any rider wishing to make a statement!
