Almost every major championship title in 2005 was won on Pro Circuit-equipped machinery. Ivan Tedesco brought home the West Supercross Lites Championship, Motocross Lites National Championship, and was part of the winning Motocross des Nations team. Ivan’s MXdN teammate Ricky Carmichael also used Pro Circuit on his way to not only the Motocross des Nations victory, but also the Supercross, Outdoor National, US Open and World Supercross titles in 2005.

ro Circuit has a saying, a slogan if you will, that goes like this, “We Race. We Win. You Benefit.” It’s actually pretty simple when you think about it. Pro Circuit began as a race shop and while it has developed into so much more, Pro Circuit has never left the race track. Owned and operated by Mitch Payton, Pro Circuit began as a custom precision engine and suspension building facility. Payton has invested over 25 years in engine building and machine shop techniques, and having had the privilege to work with the most talented riders in the industry has allowed him and his crew to develop products and services that perform. Everything Pro Circuit makes is designed and tested at the races with only one thing in mind–performance enhancement for your motorcycle. Straight from the track to the shop and onto your bike, Pro Circuit performance products are some of the best available.
And when Pro Circuit says they “go racing” it is not just an idle boast. Pro Circuit’s race teams have won 17 AMA Pro Racing 125cc (Lites) #1 Plates in 15 years. They began with their first 125cc Supercross/Motocross team back in 1991 with a kid named Jeremy McGrath taking the 125cc Supercross West title and Brian Swink taking the 125cc Supercross East Championship. Since then the list of riders who have won titles with Pro Circuit reads like a “Who’s Who” of racing greats. McGrath, Michael Pichon, Ricky Carmichael, Nathan Ramsey, Ivan Tedesco, Mike Brown, and Grant Langston have all won Supercross and/or Motocross Championships as Pro Circuit riders.
In fact, 2005 was a milestone year for Pro Circuit. Tedesco and Langston each took one of the 125cc (Lites) Supercross titles and Tedesco won the AMA 125cc (Lites) National Motocross Championship. But there was more to the season; Langston became the first rider ever to win three separate championships in the same category, Supercross, Motocross, and FIM World Competition, after clinching the AMA East Supercross Lites Championship last season.
And almost every title won in 2005 was taken with Pro Circuit equipped machinery. The Arenacross title went to Darcy Lange on a Pro Circuit equipped bike. The AMA Hare and Hound title was earned by Russ Pearson riding with Pro Circuit equipment. Ricky Carmichael used Pro Circuit on his way to the Supercross, Motocross, US Open, World Supercross, and Motocross Des Nations Championships. Also consider this; RC used a Pro Circuit equipped 2-stroke to win both the World and AMA Supercross titles in 2005 and a Pro Circuit equipped 4-stroke to win the Motocross Championships. And Pro Circuit equipped riders RC and Tedesco made up 2/3 of the American MX Des Nations team that won the title in 2005. You could say that Pro Circuit won every championship they were involved with in 2005.
Pro Circuit believes the track is the only place to figure out what works and what doesn’t. The shop is a good place to make sure that a product is technically sound, but if you don’t use and test a product in the environment that it’s meant for, all you have is numbers. They race so you benefit from a better product, a product you can count on when you want to win. Do Pro Circuit products work? The race records speak for themselves.
Pro Circuit offers a full line of exhaust systems for Motocross and Off-Road motorcycles, Minis and 50’s, Sport ATVs, Utility ATVs, and Youth ATVs, as well as performance products, graphics, controls and accessories. Talk to your Parts Unlimited rep to learn more.

Pro Circuit has once again assembled a powerhouse team for the 2006 Supercross Lites season. Unfortunately, Ben Townley and Troy Adams were both injured just prior to the season start, but will both hopefully be back for the outdoor nationals. The Pro Circuit team has posted some great finishes so far this season with Grant Langston and rookie sensation Ryan Villopoto representing the west coast, and Chris Gosselaar in the east.
