he smallest hard-chargers out there need top quality tires, too. Tires can make a huge difference to anyone trying their best to get their track, trail and MX skills down pat. The right tires are going to help them hone those moves that will bump them up to the next level. Dunlop has the tires they need. There’s a whole lineup of Dunlop Minibike tires, all with genuine Dunlop maxi-bike performance. Tires like the 2.50-12 D742F, just released.
The D742F is particularly well suited for performance action on all those 50cc Minibikes with 12-inch front wheels, bikes like the KTM 50SX SportMinicycle and all the others.
The D742F front tire comes with a mixed-concept tread pattern that’s going to be great in lots of conditions. For a real performance boost Dunlop has increased the open space in this tire’s tread pattern around the tire center, then added land ratio around the shoulder area. It’s a tread-design combination that’ll really enhance a little bike’s cornering stability. Dunlop has included a brand-new rubber compound here, too, a compound specifically designed to work with the D742F’s size and its tread pattern. This new compound can handle a wide range of riding conditions, and together that new tread pattern and the new compound combine to deliver superb grip in both hard-to-medium conditions and in soft, loamy soils. It’s the best of all worlds. On top of that, this new Dunlop Minibike tire is built to last. That’s important when you’re trying to get in as much quality track-time as possible. The 2.50-12 D742F is in stock now.
Don’t forget all those other Dunlops for the Minis, either. There’s a broad selection available, tires for all occasions, applications and conditions. There’s a mini-D739 pattern for those medium-hard terrain conditions, there’s a mini-D756 pattern for intermediate and intermediate-to-soft-terrain work and there’s a mini-D773 for full-soft conditions. They’re all carbon copies of the full-size Dunlop MX and Off-Road tires, just scaled down for the minis.
The D739, available in big-wheel and small-wheel 80cc sizes, is a super-aggressive hard terrain tire. The tread pattern is configured for maximum grip, great starts and blistering acceleration. The D739 also improves traction under hard braking and big lean angles, and the sidewalls are extra stiff for improved stability over the bumps and whoops. This is a tread pattern designed and used by top works riders. Then there’s the D756 Minis, real performers on the hard-pack without giving away a thing in intermediate-terrain conditions. They’re available in 2.50-10, 60/100-14, 70/100-17 and 70/100-19 front sizes and 2.75-10, 80/100-12, 90/100-14, 90/90-15 and 90/100-16 rears. Once again developed in conjunction with works riders, the D756 pattern and compound inspires confidence everywhere. They’re especially good through ruts and those flat, fast corners where the recessed biting edges on their shoulders really dig in. And the mini D773s, available in 2.50-10, 60/100-14, 70/100-17 and 70/100-19 fronts and 2.75-10, 80/100-12 and 90/100-14, 90/90-15 and 90/100-16 rears are the Dunlops for the soft stuff, the sand and the mud. Here’s a pattern and compound that has proven itself over and again on the toughest MX courses everywhere. It’ll do it all for the Minis, too.
Think small. Little tires can spell big business, and Dunlop has the full lineup. That new 2.50-12 D742F is just one more big gun in this little-bike arsenal. It’s in stock now and Parts Unlimited has it, so call your rep today.
