It also features extreme duty sealing, a sealed contactor pack, a remote socket and 6-gauge Express Installª wiring.
     The WARN 2.5s winch is the value leader for mid-sized quads. It starts with the same .9-horsepower motor as the 3.0s winch, and features a handlebar-mount mini rocker switch, sealed contactor pack, and 6-gauge Express Installª wiring. It provides 2,500-pounds of single-line pulling capacity with 50-feet of 3/16-inch synthetic rope.
     And the lightweight WARN 1.5s winch is the perfect choice for sport quads and small utility four-wheelers. This spunky little puller features a .4-horsepower permanent magnet motor with a handlebar mounted mini-rocker switch and an all-weather contactor pack. It provides 1,500-pounds of single-line pulling capacity with 40-feet of 5/32-inch synthetic rope.
     In each case, use of synthetic rope saves about 2.25-pounds per winch compared to steel cable. A rock guard sleeve is included with each synthetic rope to eliminate abrasion damage from hard stone surfaces. And all new WARN synthetic rope winches include a roller fairlead to ease pulling at difficult angles. Use of gloves when winching is still recommended even with the synthetic ropes.
