ITP’s easy to use and easy to sell tire/wheel kits have always made sense. They’re convenient, they’re affordable, they bolt right on and they’re available in sizes to fit all the popular applications. These latest Utility Vehicle kits include ITP’s brand-new and good-looking C-Series Type 7 wheels, too. The new C-Series Type 7 is a unique one-piece aluminum design and, perfect for a Utility Vehicle, it’s one tough customer. These wheels are manufactured to the rigorous QS9000 quality standards using ITP’s high-tech Advancecast process. These wheels are light, too, and available in several finishes they definitely look good. There’s a Bright Machined version with gunmetal gray accents, and in the Type 7 “Limited” lineup the wheels are offered in a High Polish finish with black accents, a Black Powder Coat with machined accents and there’s a show-quality Chrome Finish. Who said a Utility Vehicle has to be boring? Certainly not ITP. The tire options in these new Utility Vehicle kits are pretty extensive, too. Choices include the ITP Mud Lite XTR, the Mud Lite XL and the do-it-all 589 M/S. With all of these possibilities on the table–and all those wheel-finish choices–you can perfectly match a Utility Vehicle owner’s tastes, the intended uses for that machine and of course the all-important budget with a tire-and-wheel kit ideally suited to the mission and the terrain. The Mud Lite XTR Kit is pretty special. This kit brings together two cutting edge ITP products, the C-Series Type 7 wheels and those Mud Lite XTR tires. There’s nothing else like it on the market. The Mud Lite XTR is the result of some of the most extensive R&D ever from ITP; it’s the industry’s first Extreme Terrain Radial tire–XTR. Radial construction lets the Mud Lite XTR ride smoothly with lots more traction than a bias-ply tire could ever muster. A radial tire’s footprint actually grows under load creating a larger contact patch to really dig in. A radial tire has better flotation properties, too, meaning the Mud Lite XTR is far less prone to sink into deep mud. And these tire are tough. There’s 6-ply construction and a rubber compound extremely resistant to punctures. Don’t dismiss those other tire options, though. The Mud Lite XL is a great all-conditions tire able to sling mud with the best of them. It’s significantly lighter than comparable mud tires, too, letting the Mud Lites handle almost like a sport tire. And the ITP 589M/S tires are maybe the smoothest riding mud tires on the market today. ITP’s Utility Vehicle wheel-and-tire packages have something for everyone. They’re all in stock now and available through Parts Unlimited, and not a minute too soon. |
