traveling the around the country I have found that the consumer loves
the line of leathers we have created,” say Susan Steichen of Drag
Specialties. “Arlen Ness is a respected name that speaks of quality
and class. Everywhere I’ve gone the response is the same, ‘Wow,
this is great styling and extremely comfortable. I love the different
look and feel of the jackets. Where can I get one?’ The answer
is always, ‘At your local Drag Specialties or Parts Unlimited dealer’.
If you haven’t brought this line into your dealership you’re
losing sales!”Susan continues, “Being out on the road I’ve learned that many people have been waiting for apparel for the cruiser market that is new and different and of high quality leather. I’m proud to say that we have that in Arlen Ness leathers. In 2006 we have listened to the public and dealers about what they were looking for. Many have said that removable liners were a necessity. We’ve added three new jackets to the line that all have that feature, two leathers and one textile. That doesn’t include the two jackets that were in the 2005 catalog. So altogether we have four jackets with removable, washable, breathable liners and one with a waterproof liner.” “The textile jacket is something new that is a must have!” says Steichen. “It features DuPont, cordura fabric with PU coating and a Teflon finish that provides abrasion protection, plus mesh fabric that provides excellent ventilation. It has a zip-out liner in a waterproof, breathable Microdry membrane with sealed seams with CE approved shoulder/ elbow armor for more protection. Pre-curved arms make the riding position more comfortable. Strong elasticized fabric at the underarm and forearm make for a free range of movement. The side buckles were added to provide adjustment at the waist. And last but not least is the reflective piping under the back yoke that allows the rider to be seen at night. This jacket is definitely one that needs to be inventoried in your shops!” “The ladies are going to be pleased that we have added three new leather jackets made of a high-grade cowhide for all different body types. We’ve kept the ladies Form jacket in black or white made from high quality lamb, and styled to look and feel great on or off the bike. Chaps have been added to both the men’s and ladies lines, all made to fit and coordinate with the jackets. No matter what you ride, Metric or V-Twin, these jackets are the must haves for 2006!” Good advice from someone who knows what they’re talking about! Steichen travels the country for Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited, going to all the major shows and rallies, so when it comes to leathers, she has seen it all–the good, the bad, and the ones who get it right. Arlen Ness has always done it right. The Arlen Ness line of leather gear and apparel was introduced in 2005 and became an instant hit with dealers and consumers. For 2006 they have added several new products to their outstanding line. Be sure to stock up and your customers will thank you. Call your Drag Specialties rep today for more information. |
