TP has just released a couple new sport-quad ATV packages youÕll want to check out, and they're both in the Parts Unlimited warehouses right now. The all-new Holeshot H-D is the roughest, toughest, most aggressive Holeshot tire ever and it's been teamed with ITPÕs newest black powder-coated C-Series wheel. This is one cool combo, in both looks and performance. And the new Holeshot SX, also just released, might be the most technologically advanced motocross tire ever available for an ATV.
First the Holeshot H-D and that jet-black C-Series wheel. This package looks tough and is tough. The Holeshot H-D is wider than most trail-riding tires, which means it'll climb out of ruts easier, not to mention stay out of them in the first place! The Holeshot H-D has a new, stepped-shoulder knob design for more side bite, and its larger, wider-spaced lugs enhance both traction and clean-out. Simply put, ITP's Holeshot H-D is built to take on and beat the toughest conditions. And this tire is durable. It'll deliver great wear characteristics and has fantastic puncture resistance. And with all this the Holeshot H-D is surprisingly light for quick, agile handling. The 6-ply rated Holeshot H-D comes in two sizes, a 20 x 11-9 and a 20 x 11-10.
Couple that with the new ITP black powder-coated C-Series wheel and you've got a great package. ITP's 9- and 10-inch C-Series one-piece aluminum wheels have been a hot setup for sport riding since their introduction just two years ago. These wheels are manufactured to a rigorous QS9000 quality specification meaning they're incredibly strong, lightweight, reliable and one of the best values on the market. This season ITP offers all that in a black powder-coat, a third finish-option to go with the machined and polished wheels already available. This season ITP has the C-Series wheel in a 9-inch size, too. It's available in two common bolt patterns (4/110 and 4/115) to fit most of the popular Hondas, Kawasakis, Suzukis and Yamahas. And that black powder-coat is available on all the C-Series sizes, the new 9 x 8 and the existing 10 x 5s and the 10 x 8s.
Then there's that new Holeshot SX. This tire is the next step up. Holeshot SX tires - it's a front-and-rear combination - were developed with National-caliber race teams especially to excel on those dry, slick surfaces so common in racing. The tires come in both front and rear configurations, each complementing the other for a go-fast combination. The 18 x 10-8 rears use a specially reinforced carcass to minimize stretching while maintaining a flat profile, and a new "RR" compound provides great hard-pack performance and a surprisingly long life. The SX uses tightly spaced knobs to increase the contact patch, and the knobs themselves are laterally sipped to yield twice the number of biting edges. The SX 20 x 6-10 front also uses that tighter and sipped knob pattern for an increased contact area, this time improving steering response as well as braking control. The SX's "RR" compound keeps those knob edges sharper longer, too, and a reinforced carcass magnifies the cornering precision. A secondary benefit of the new carcass design allows for lower tire pressures, which means an improved ride as well as better steering traction. Quite a tire set. It'll be a serious racer's favorite.
ITP, a real leader in the ATV world, keeps rolling out the good stuff. More of it's right here, and it's all available through Parts Unlimited right now.
