The Alliance SS helmet is the newest offering from Icon. This high-quality helmet is designed with comfort, style and affordability in mind. Available in solids, graphics and Rubatone, the Alliance SS has that Icon "edge."

he great thing about Icon products is their "edge." Almost everything Icon markets is very coolly different, high quality, well designed, fantastically functional, visually stunning and edgy.
The newest offering from Icon is the Alliance SS helmet, just released this fall. The Alliance SS is a modified version of Icon's popular Alliance helmet which was scored as the best Snell M2000 approved helmet that was tested in the controversial Motorcyclist magazine helmet standard article earlier this year. The recent modifications include a radical top supervent, new interior with removable cheek-pads and it now passes the Snell M2005 standard.
The Icon Alliance SS helmet features a fit that was specifically designed for the North American market. It is a much more comfortable fit for American heads, being a little more oval than most Asian made helmets. A resilient engineered polycarbonate shell, coupled with a dual-density styrene liner, combine to meet or exceed both DOT and Snell standards. Fully removable cheek-pads, comfortable Nylex lining, and dimensionally molded crown pad complete the interior. The quality of the fit and value far exceed the price.
The Icon "edge" in this case is the elaborate and radical looking supervent system, which not only ventilates extremely well, but looks like it came from the future. To promote ventilation, the Alliance SS is equipped with dorsal aspect supervents that duct fresh air into the helmet. To complete the flow dynamics, strategically placed exhaust vents evacuate the heat buildup.
Other features include a super easy to change shield system. This means the helmet buyer can change out his own clear, smoke or reflective shields - and he'll want to buy all three! Of course the Alliance SS is Snell M2005/DOT approved and comes with a dual density styrene liner.
The Alliance SS helmet comes in solid colors, Rubatone or graphics, affordably priced at $190 for solids and $200 for graphics. In any color, this is one great looking helmet - it has that Icon edge. See your Parts representative to stock up.
