The standard 3-pin connector makes the full 5-amps available, an optional 2-pin connector dials the output down to 2.5 amps. A couple styles of those 2- or 3-pin leads are available, and they can be left right on the battery terminals making hook-ups quick and easy. The Power Tender Plus fits almost anywhere.
