f
you’ve ever ridden a cruiser at speed you know there’s
room for improvement in the handling and suspension department. Unfortunately,
some custom riders are more concerned with the paint than the handling
of the motorcycle. Race Tech began working on Harley-Davidsons and
cruisers in 1972 and has created many advancements in cruiser suspension
since.
For the introduction of the CADDIES product line, Race Tech engineers
developed some of the most advanced, rebuildable and adjustable cruiser
shocks in the industry to complement their well-established front fork
suspension kits currently available. CADDIES suspension products offer
you the best ride for your money-that ultimate “floater ride.”
CADDIES twin shocks are available with chrome or
black springs. Different lengths are available to accommodate lowered and custom
applications and the spring preload can be quickly adjusted to accommodate those
extra-load journeys. CADDIES Softail shocks are available for Twin Cam and Evo
applications and the length is adjustable for lowering. They have a sleek 2.5-inch
body and have a unique progressive triple spring system. CADDIES come
with special Progressively Wound, High Performance, Chrome Silicon
Springs and Ultra Slick High Performance Suspension Fluid is used exclusively.
CADDIES are Nitrogen pressurized and completely serviceable.
Race Tech Gold Valves or Emulators are the heart
of all CADDIES shock and fork damping systems that may be custom valved. The
complete fork kits come with valving, High Performance Springs and all related
hardware to lower the front end one or two inches.
CADDIES products are available from Race Tech through
