Judging by the amount of people attending this year’s event, the 14th annual Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show presented by Performance Machine and FastDates.com was a huge success. Everyone seemed to have a great time, the weather was beautiful and the bikes on display were more impressive than ever.
elcome to the Long Beach, California, home to the 14th annual Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show presented by Performance Machine and FastDates.com. This year’s event was held July 16-17 at the Queen Mary Event Park and featured anything and everything for the custom motorcycle enthusiast.
     Attractions during the event included the Jardine Dyno Shootout, Performance Machine Custom Motorcycle Show, seminars held by world famous bike builders, live music and some of the hottest parts manufacturers in the industry today.
     While walking the grounds of the two-day event, show goers were treated to some of the biggest names in motorcycle industry, custom motorcycles, parts and accessories. Vendors and manufacturers such as Samson Exhaust, Performance Machine, Barnett and Arlen Ness to Saddlemen, Storz, JIMS and many more had booths and displays showcasing their hottest parts and accessories.
     Some of the biggest names in custom bike building were on hand as well: Russell Mitchell, Jesse Rooke, Roland Sands and Chica seemed to be crowd favorites as their booths were always full of adoring fans. Several builders even held seminars throughout the weekend, explaining their style of bike building, answering questions and signing autographs.
     New for this year, the LA Calendar Show became an official qualifying round of the AMD World Championship of Bike Building. Winners from the Performance Machine Custom Motorcycle Show received an invitation to compete in the World Finals in Las Vegas.
     The 2005 Los Angeles Calendar Show was a great event to attend. The show-goers seemed to have a great time, the custom bikes were amazing to see and the weather was beautiful. Who could ask for anything more from a two day party on the beach?






The “Glory Stomper” was just one of many of Roland Sands custom creations featured in the Performance Machine booth. Sands has been featured on Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build-off” and other programs.






Always a hit at any show, the Barnett booth was filled with show-goers throughout the entire event.
