As the pioneer of quiet performance mufflers, FMF raised the bar again in 2005 with the second generation of Q series mufflers–the Q2. Built from the ground up, the Q2 is a completely new design, engineered for maximum performance while maintaining a sound level at or near 93dB on most models. The Q2 incorporates Factory Forward Engineering to move the muffler closer–centralizing the mass for improved handling characteristics. The new Hi-Flo formed end cap reduces weight and is less prone to damage. The Q2 has an anodized aluminum canister and is lighter and quieter than the original Q. All three models utilize a maintenance-free USFS approved turbine type spark arrestor so there is no screen to clean or burn out. With their free flowing internal baffles and chambers, advanced sound-absorbing materials and now reduced weight, the Q2 is the market leader for low sound/high performance. With land closures being a constant problem across the country, “Less sound equals more ground” is something we all need to think of. Products like the FMF Q2 are part of the solution that takes the noise out of riding, not the fun. And when it comes to racing 4-stroke ATVs, FMF leads the way with the Factory 4 system. The Factory 4 is designed to broaden the power-band, increase overall horsepower and torque gain while reducing and centralizing the weight. The Factory 4 features FMF’s oval to round construction and a sleeker, tucked in profile which is much less prone to crash damage. Depending on the machine, the Factory 4 will deliver substantial power gains over standard systems and is also designed to lower and centralize the center of gravity. For those who don’t need the full Factory 4 system, FMF offers the Factory 4 SL. The next evolution of FMF’s very successful Factory 4, the Factory 4 SL is designed to be a compact, perfect fitting slip-on, centralizing and lowering the mass of the machine. As with its predecessor, expect an increase in power throughout the rev range and a big boost in the upper RPM. Space age internal packing delivers maximum packing life. The compact design reduces weight and has a shorter overall length then stock. FMF’s exclusive oval to round canister delivers greater power while centralizing mass and lowering the center of gravity. Huge weight savings and power gains are offered by the FMF Titanium 4 racing exhaust system. All Titanium 4 mufflers are available in a natural titanium finish or in a blue anodized finish. FMF’s Titanium 4 is fully tunable with modular end caps that allow for easy changes to shape the power-band of the machine and alter the sound level. Two-stroke ATVs like the Banshee and Blaster are still highly popular and FMF has some of the best offerings for any two cycle. The SST pipe, for example, increases mid range pull and extends the over-rev considerably while sharpening the off idle throttle response. No other pipe on the market can offer these same types of gains or offer the same linear power delivery that the patented SST brings to the table. FMF Racing’s Tru-Flo stamping process ensures a perfect fit and optimum performance. The SST is great looking too and chrome plated for everlasting appearance and durability. The FMF Fatty Gold Series pipe broadens the power-band and provides a healthy power increase everywhere. Improved throttle response, a linear power-band and enhanced over-rev all add up to a pipe that everyone will benefit from. The Fatty pipe is FMF’s most popular pipe for that same reason. If you’re riding trails, tracks or in the open desert, this pipe has what you’re looking for. The FMF Gnarly pipe focuses on increasing the lower RPM horsepower and torque to get you out of the toughest terrain. When looking to add 4-stroke tractor-like torque to your 2-stroke and you need a pipe to withstand the harsh elements, this is the pipe for you. Nickel plating is an FMF trademark and has been ‘copied’ enough times to qualify as the most imitated expansion chamber in the world. Super strong 18 gauge steel construction makes it stand up to the toughest conditions and riders. The FMF Rev pipe focuses its power delivery in the middle and upper RPMs of the power-band. If you’re running out of power up top, want more time between shifts and do a lot of deep berm or sand riding, the FMF Rev is your pipe of choice.
