New in 2005, the Yoshimura TRC Titanium Pro-Series now comes standard with the brand new high-tech “Magnedised” Muffler, and a new FIM cone-shaped two-piece removable end cap. For a wallet-friendly alternative to the TRC Pro-Series, Yoshimura has the TRC Stainless Steel Comp-Series, constructed with stainless steel head- and mid-pipes instead of titanium.

he riding and racing season is well underway, and you know what that means. All those hard-chargers at the front of the packs want to keep things that way, and the guys in the back eating dust are looking to change that situation pronto! Every off-road rider wants to get and keep a performance edge, and one of the first places they’ll look is to the exhaust system. Well, no matter what that rider’s budget will bear you can give him a great exhaust with a genuine Yoshimura. These are the performance pipes factory teams and top privateers alike have relied on for years. The TRC Pro-Series and TRC Comp-Series exhausts have every track-and-trail rider covered, too, everyone from those dead-serious pros to the weekend warriors. Yoshimura hasn’t forgotten the sport-quad guys, either. There are Pro- and Comp-Series exhausts available there, too, full systems and economical slip-ons.
The TRC Pro-Series pipes are awesome performers. Yoshimura led the industry in bringing lightweight titanium pipes like this off-road, and for 2005 those Yoshimura TRC Titanium Pro-Series exhausts comes standard with Yoshimura’s brand-new “Magnedised” Muffler. This high-tech silencer is a perfect match to the TRC Pro’s titanium head- and mid-pipe. There’s an FIM cone-shaped two-piece removable end cap standard now, too. No question, the TRC Pro-Series is the real deal, a pro-quality exhaust from the port right through to that removable end cap. This is a lightweight performance exhaust that can make a difference. Aimed at the serious racer, these exhausts are constructed entirely with Grade 2 aerospace-quality seamless titanium, everything’s Tig welded, the tapered pipes are CNC mandrel bent, and the whole system is extremely resistant to rust and corrosion. Besides shaving pounds, that titanium offers better heat dissipation, too, and there are stainless steel heat shields available for most applications. There’s a new, hard-mounted bracket this year, too, adding real strength and support, and that new cone-shaped two-piece end cap comes with Yoshimura’s 94-96db insert included. The TRC Pro Series pipes are the complete package. And yes, Yoshimura is still offering a Carbon Fiber or Titanium muffler option for the Pro-Series, too.
The affordable TRC Stainless Steel Comp-Series exhaust is patterned directly off that TRC Pro-Series system, but it’s constructed with stainless steel head- and mid-pipes instead of titanium and it’s a whole lot less expensive. The Comp-Series head- and mid-pipes are fashioned from computerized mandrel bent 304L stainless steel, and the system’s TRC tri-oval muffler is offered in either Aluminum or Carbon Fiber. This season those TRC Comp-Series systems come standard with that same new cone-shaped end cap, too, and just like the Pro-Series pipes they come with a USFS-approved TEC Low Volume (94-96db) insert already installed. The TRC Comp-Series has those stainless steel heat shields, as well, and all of this comes at a rider-friendly price, something most everyone can afford.
Off-road riders and racers look for an edge, and here it is. It’s all pure Yoshimura, too, real performance in either full titanium or stainless steel, and it’s all available through Parts Unlimited.
