Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Grant Langston wrapped up
the 125cc East Supercross Championship in Pontiac. Langston was actually
tied for the points lead with KTM’s Josh Hansen, but Grant had
more overall wins, thus securing him the coveted #1 plate.

After claiming the win in Dallas, and placing second in Orlando, Langston
went on to place second in the 125 main event in Las Vegas.
Tedesco (left) and Langston both sported their respective #1 plates
for the 125 East/West Shootout in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Tedesco
crashed during the first lap of the main event, so fans didn’t
get to see the two champs face-off.

Chad Reed had a great second half of the season, winning in Orlando,
Pontiac and Vegas (pictured), along with a third place finish in Dallas
and a second place finish in Houston.
During the Supercross Finals weekend in Las Vegas, some additional
industry action included the MiniMoto and the 2005 Supercross Banquet.
Here are a few highlights.

The competition was fierce at the MiniMoto this year. There was definitely
some bar-banging going on off the line.

When you’re Jeremy McGrath, you even get an umbrella girl for
the MiniMoto!

No matter whether he’s racing Supercross, giving interviews,
or racing a 50; it’s always great to see Jeremy McGrath out on
the track!
Guy Cooper raced at last year’s inaugural MiniMoto event, and
was back again in 2005 for more mini action.
