ne of the “must-attend” events of the year for the leading retailers in the business is the annual Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties Showcase. Activities this year will kick off on Saturday, August 27th with a “Meet & Greet” reception at the company’s massive warehouse in Janesville, Wisconsin. This event offers a great mix of food and refreshments with plenty of industry leaders and celebrities to mingle with.      The next day the action shifts to the Monona Terrace convention center in nearby Madison for the full-scale industry trade show featuring exhibits from leading suppliers to Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties.
This show will be the first time many new products for 2006 will be seen. If you haven’t yet made your plans to attend, it’s not too late. Talk to your Parts Unlimited or Drag Specialties sales rep for the registration and hotel details.

One great thing about a Parts Unlimited event is the mix of leaders you’ll see from both the business and racing worlds. From left are Fred Fox (Parts Unlimited), Ben Bostrom (Superbike and Supermoto racing), Jeff Fox (Parts Unlimited) and Sebastien Tortelli (Motocross/Supercross).

Looking like a proud papa with a new baby, Gabriele Mazzarolo flew all the way from the Alpinestars factory in Italy last year to be a part of the launch of his new Tech 10 boots.

Dealers attending the Showcase have a chance to talk with some of the key people that make and sell the brands that Parts Unlimited distributes. A few new lines such as Akrapovic exhaust systems made their debut there last year.

Parts Unlimited takes product knowledge seriously. Here reps Steve Dickenson (3rd from right) and Lee Holmberg (far right) discuss the features of a Smith goggle at the Parts Unlimited National Vendor Presentations (NVP) that was held last year in conjunction with the Showcase for dealers.

Chris Wall (middle) explains the Pirelli/Metzeler line to some attending dealers of the Showcase.
