The
Cockpit Series windscreens from Memphis Shades are direct replacement
windscreens that not only offer 50-percent or more additional coverage
over the stock windscreen, but look great too. The Cockpit windscreens
are built tough from the highest quality Lucite, and are offered in
a variety of gradient-tint colors to complement or accent the color
of the bike.
here’s
nothing else like them on the market. The Memphis Shades “Cockpit
Series” windscreens give sportbike riders all the extra wind
protection they want and need, and do it with a gradient-tint sportbike
style that can complement or accent the look of the bike. These windscreens
are cool.
The Cockpit windscreens are direct replacements, too. There’s no
extra hardware needed. Installation is as simple and quick as removing
the stock windscreen and replacing it with a Memphis Shades Cockpit.
And that’s the end of the OE comparison. While the Memphis Shades
Cockpit retains the spirit and profile of that original equipment windscreen,
it replaces it with 50-percent or more additional coverage. The Cockpit’s
computer-generated shape channels the wind blast up and over the rider,
dramatically enlarging the protected capsule. Riders trying a Cockpit
for the first time wonder how they got along without one.
Coming from Memphis Shades, the Cockpit windscreens are tough. They’re
made with the highest quality Lucite L, a full .125-inches thick. And
they’re available in all those Memphis Shades gradient-tint colors;
black, ruby, purple, sun yellow, blue, burnt orange and clear. With that
choice spread out before him a rider can pick a windscreen to complement
the factory color of his bike, or he can accent that color, fitting a
black screen to a red bike for instance. Either way, that rider gets
to tuck down behind the Cockpit windscreen and stay protected – and
still see right through it no matter want color the gradient tint.
Sportbike riders have really taken to these second-generation Memphis
Shades gradient-tint replacement windscreens. They’re styled great,
they work better, and those gradient tints really look fine. But bottom
line it’s that 50-percent increase in wind protection that every
sport rider can appreciate. It’s all about being comfortable on
the bike, and with the Memphis Shades Cockpit windscreens that comfort
comes with genuine sportbike style. All the Cockpit windscreens – even
those new ones not yet in the catalogs – are available through
Parts Unlimited.
