For 2005 the Yoshimura TRC Titanium Pro-Series now comes standard with
Yoshimura’s brand-new “Magnedised” Muffler, a high-tech
silencer that’s a perfect match to the TRC Pro’s titanium
head- and mid-pipe. There’s a new FIM cone-shaped two-piece removable
end cap that’s standard now, too, making the TRC Pro-Series a really
complete package. And that tough-as-nails and affordable stainless-steel
TRC Comp-Series system now gets that same new cone end cap as standard,
too. Just like the Pro-Series it comes with a USFS-approved TEC Low Volume
(94-96db) insert already installed. Yoshimura’s TRC Pro-Series full-titanium systems are the serious
racer’s choice, and that new Magnedised Muffler has this top-of-the-line
system looking as good as it performs. The Magnedised Muffler’s
magnesium anodized finish screams high-tech, and the Magnedised TRC Pro-Series
is one tough customer, too. The system now features a hard-mounted bracket
for added strength and support to stand up to the rough-and-tumble world
of racing. Along with that new Magnedised Muffler Yoshimura’s still
offering those familiar Carbon Fiber and Titanium muffler options for
the Pro-Series, but either way that new cone-shaped two-piece end cap
comes with Yoshimura’s 94-96db insert included.These lightweight Pro systems are constructed entirely with Grade 2 aerospace-quality seamless titanium, all Tig welded. The tapered head- and mid-pipes are CNC mandrel bent, and because it’s made from titanium the whole system resists rusting and corrosion. Those titanium pipes are great at dissipating heat, too, and stainless steel heat shields are available for most applications. The TRC Pro header not only improves performance throughout the powerband, its titanium construction saves precious weight, as well. Yoshimura’s TRC Stainless Steel Comp-Series is the affordable alternative to all that. The TRC Comp-Series is patterned directly off the TRC Pro-Series, but it’s constructed with stainless steel head- and mid-pipes instead of titanium and it’s a whole lot less expensive. The Comp-Series head- and mid-pipe, while a tad heavier than the Pro’s titanium, is made up from computerized mandrel bent 304L stainless steel and the system’s TRC tri-oval muffler is offered in either Aluminum or Carbon Fiber, your choice. The TRC Comp-Series has the same trick stainless steel heat shield as the Pro-Series and it now comes standard with that new cone-shaped Yoshimura two-piece end cap and the Low Volume TEC sound insert installed.
