he
tires and those wheel/tire kits just keep coming. ITP, a premier source
for ATV rolling
stock–for the mud, the trails, for general utility, you name it–has
another offering just out.
Sport-riding customers who love to throw up those giant roosts out
in the dunes will be all over this one. The new ITP Sand Stars are
the absolute latest in sand-tire technology. These are the tires to
get it done. First
of all, the Sand Stars are light as a feather. That’s important
out in the loose stuff. These tires are no weaklings, though. Their
carcasses are extremely durable. The ITP Sand Star has a special rubber
compound, too, a compound specifically developed to deliver that ideal
level of flotation, flexibility and cornering that sand riders look
for.
And the Sand Stars perform. The rear tire
features eight 30mm main paddles as well as eight
more “mini-scoops” to grab hold in the deepest, loosest
sand. This design works. ITP has a patent
pending on it. The Sand Star rear is something brand-new for an ATV
tire. It hooks up and accelerates like there’s no tomorrow. And that
matching and complementary Sand Star front is just as good. These tires
feature another ITP patent pending design, a “dual rib” configuration
that digs in deep for unrivaled steering control. And the Sand Stars
look great. Both of them, front and rear, have molded in logos and
there are bold sidewall hot-patch logos, too.
The Sand Stars are available in all the
right sizes. There are 21 x 7-10 and 22 x 8-10 fronts, and those multipaddle
rears are available in 20 x 11-8, 20 x 11-9 and 20 x 11-10 sizes. And
brandnew
for 2005, ITP also has a couple new sizes just for the mini-quads.
There’s
a 19 x 6- 10 front and an 18 x 9.50-8 rear. All this is available in
ITP’s
convenient bolt-on wheel/tire combo kits, too. The Sand Stars are also
offered pre-mounted on a set of either the ITP T-9 Pro Series aluminum
wheels or the C-Series 10-inch aluminum wheels, with either the machined
or the polished finish. These wheels are every bit the equal of the tires
they carry, too. The T-9 Pro-Series wheel is an ATV standout. It’s
extremely popular, it’s lightweight and incredibly strong and a
perfect match for the Sand Stars. The T-9 looks great, too, and comes
with a fully polished finish. There’s even an integral bead hump
for tire retention. And ITP’s one-piece aluminum C-Series wheel
is another nice choice. Manufactured
to a rigorous QS9000 quality specification these wheels are incredibly
strong, and they’re priced comparably to similarly sized steel
wheels making them one of best deals in the ATV market.
The ITP Sand Star tires and those Sand
Star Kits are available for all the popular sport-oriented ATVs. Once
again ITP has come up with a winner, and Parts Unlimited has it all
in stock. Call your rep today for more information.
