The new Tattoo seat from Saddlemen features a custom flame stitch pattern along with Saddlemen’s patented SaddleGel technology. For a classic look and ultimate comfort, try Saddlemen’s new Endangered seat. Also featuring SaddleGel, the Endangered boasts a brand new custom look by incorporating embossed alligator leather panels with embroidered type stitching.
hink comfort in a Harley seat and chances are you’ll think Saddlemen. The motorcycle seats from this company, even the lowest-profile and barely there designs, just about define the word comfortable. All that comes thanks to the clever use of Saddlemen’s patented SaddleGel technology. An industry innovator when it comes to motorcycle gel seats,      Saddlemen has developed long-life gel formulations especially for motorcycles, and that gel is incorporated into a Saddlemen seat where it counts. It’s heat resistant, too, and if you haven’t yet tried a Saddlemen seat with SaddleGel you’re in for a surprise. Those panels of SaddleGel integrated under the seat’s top cover really do dampen the road shocks, and there’s none of that tingly “numb butt” feeling you get after a few hours out on the road on some other regularly padded saddle, either. SaddleGel is guaranteed for the life of the motorcycle, too.
Making all this even better, that long-life Saddlemen comfort gets combined with some great seat styles. Saddlemen’s seats look as good as they feel, and everything about them from the pan to the upholstery to the stitching to the applied details is all top-quality and first-rate, materials and craftsmanship. Saddlemen has it all, too, everything from the biggest touring seats to the leanest and meanest frame-and-fender hugging saddles for a Friday-night bar hopper. There are plain designs, flames and wild-looking stitch patterns and there’s the choice of spots, studs or conchos to accent it all.
And now there are two new styles just out. The “Tattoo” and the “Endangered” are a pair of new saddles destined to become custom classics. The Tattoo is derived from that hugely popular Renegade II Solo, this time incorporating a custom flame stitch pattern for a distinctive 3-D effect. Naturally the seat has that exclusive SaddleGel installed for the ultimate in ride comfort, and for the ultimate in looks a leather covering is standard. The Tattoo carries a suggested retail price of $329.95 to $334.95 (depending on the model) and it’s available for most Harleys. There’s a matching pillion pad, too, also incorporating that flame-stitch design. It’s offered with a retail price of $209.95.
The other new Saddlemen, the Endangered, takes off where those hugely popular low-and-lean Saddlemen Profiler seats leave off. The Endangered incorporates a totally new (and patent pending) sewing technique which incorporates embossed alligator leather panels with embroidered type stitching. It’s a unique and truly custom look, something you’d expect from a one-off upholstery shop, yet this is an extremely functional over-the-counter production seat, and at $399.95 it’s tough to beat. Saddlemen’s new sewing technique assures that this seat will maintain its cover integrity, too, and of course there’s SaddleGel incorporated into the mix. That SaddleGel is available as an option for the Endangered’s passenger area, as well, and the seat is offered for most Harley-Davidsons.
Custom looks, rider comfort and now even some exotic coverings–Saddlemen has it, and Drag Specialties has Saddlemen. Check with your rep on these two new saddles, the Tattoo and Endangered. They’re just out.
