Pro Armor’s new state-of-the-art facilities in Corona, CA.

Pro Armor’s Alex Danze with one of the company’s many innovative aftermarket parts.
ro Armor’s Alex Danze has a philosophy and it goes something like this... “You need to ride. You need to keep your ride safe from damaging natural elements. Pro Armor realizes this fact and has designed and manufactured a new line of protection, which also adds style and function to your valuable machine. Each product is carefully engineered to provide maximum protection, stylish appearance and utmost functionality. We use the latest equipment along with the strongest materials. Pro Armor also knows the needs of dirt fanatics. This is why we are always developing forward-thinking products to make your addictions easier on you.”
Pro Armor has grown to be a big contender and player in the ATV aftermarket industry. And the Pro Armor brand has become a big and trusted name among the OEM’s, which use them for quality accessory suppliers. ATV riders and racers also look to Pro Armor to help protect their machines both on and off the track. Pro Armor has built this reputation on quality and customer service in order to stand apart from the competition.
Pro Armor recently moved into much larger, state of the art facilities with new equipment for a more efficient and modern operation during the design and manufacturing process of their numerous products. A great deal of the new facility is computer controlled and automated.
Just one example of Pro Armor’s outstanding products is the new Pro Series Kill Switch, which introduces some much-needed additions for safety, ease of operation and mounting. The new Pro Series Kill Switch is a necessity for all ATVs for the protection of riders and their machines. This easy to mount (2-wire installation) Kill Switch features include a “T” design pull knob for easier pulling to reset the switch. Plus, there is an internal o-ring for proper sealing to prevent contaminants from entering the nearly indestructible main body. A removable bushing allows mounting on either standard or oversized handlebars. And a tether cord is used for less interference. A tethered switch such as Pro Armors is required by 99% of all tracks and racing events because it shuts off the machine in case rider separates from the ATV.
Pro Armor also just released a FAT PEG Nerf Bar. This design also incorporates a heel guard, but comes with racing fat pegs that are wider and longer than OE and have much more gripping power. These foot pegs are replaceable too, which is a big hit on the racing scene where most racers have to replace the entire nerf bar just to replace the worn down foot pegs. Pro Armor tests everything it makes through racing and racer’s feedback is a critical factor in every Pro Armor part.
On the racing front, Pro Armor has picked up numerous top racers to represent them at various race venues in 2005, including two very well known names: Joe Byrd and Chris Borich. Chris Borich is one of the only racers to beat Bill Ballance and has won multiple GNCC events. Joe Byrd, likewise, is one of the only racers to top Doug Gust in the ATVA GNC races and gave Honda their first victory. Look for both of these racers to be at the front of their series and on top of the podium for 2005.
The bottom line: Pro Armor is serious protection, but what else would you expect from the company that supplies the big manufacturers their OE accessories? Pro Armor’s definitely kicked it up a notch here, and Parts Unlimited has it all. Call your Parts rep today to stock up.
