hatever
segment of the moto-world you’re selling in, there are premium
Avons for it. Touring, sport-touring, high-performance street, track-day
tires, tires for the cruisers and customs, the dual-sport bikes, the
Supermoto and off-road machines–you’ll find it all at Avon.
Every one of those Avons is a top-line premium tire, too, but Avons don’t
come with a premium price. Avon tires retail comparably with the market.
With all the Avon benefits, though–crisp handling, great mileage,
wet-weather performance, cool running–it’s money well spent.Touring and cruiser tires? That’s the Avon Venom, and they’re available in every size and style. There are Venoms for power cruising, for high-load touring, there are blackwalls, whitewalls and there are even radial Venoms in OE replacement sizes. Every one is a first-rate premium tire, too. Venoms feature sequential multi-arc tread patterns for a light, sportbike feel and a quiet ride, there are specially designed casings for low rolling resistance and the Venoms run cool. They’ll perform in all styles of riding. Big-bike riders making the switch to Venoms can’t believe the difference. The bike handles easier, turns into corners better and almost magically seems like it shed a couple hundred pounds. The handling is more nimble, especially in city traffic. The Azaro ST and SPs are the Avon upgrades for sport-tourers and sport-riders. There are 18 available sizes, all with Avon’s Advanced Variable Belt Density (A-VBD) construction. The Azaro carcass uses a system of closely wound Aramid fibers in the center tread area for straight-up stability, with more fibers spaced just a bit wider apart at the shoulders for stability at high lean angles. The Azaro rear features Avon’s SBC (Spiral Belted Carcass) construction, too. These ultra-strong belts absorb the stress of hard acceleration and braking. The Azaros tread patterns are great in the wet, too. They’re designed to propel water out from under the tires. But wet or dry the Azaro’s TA (Tri-Arc) profile delivers a great balance of handling and stability. The SP and Pro Series Azaros take all this one step further with compounds and tread patterns developed on the track, for the track. These tires excel in super-street or track-day riding. And there are premium Avons that’ll throw a roost. The Gripsters, Distanzias, Distanzia Supermotos, and Supermoto Pro-Xtreme Rains were all engineered and constructed for dual-sport and Supermoto work, and they’re all front-of-the-pack runners. They have that same Avon attention to detail that’s lavished on the street-, touring- and track tires and these dirt- and dual-sport Avons come in all the sizes you’ll need, all the compounds and all the carcass-construction styles. There are even radials. Avon tires make the bike even better, and whatever segment of the moto-world you’re selling to there’s a premium Avon for it. The prices are always right, too, and Parts Unlimited carries them all. |
