Racing exhausts have made quite a name for themselves. These step-header
systems, introduced just under two years ago, have earned a solid following,
too. None of that came by hyped-up advertising, either. Those Rineharts
made their name by winning–on the track and on the street.
Consider: Last season no fewer than four AHDRA Class Champions powered
to their titles with Rinehart exhausts. Along with those wins came plenty
of new records, too, whether it was ET, MPH or track bests. And moving
from the drag strips to the wide-open expanse of Bonneville, Pete Davis
bolted a set of Rineharts onto his BUB Ent. / Drag Specialties “FatBook
Flyer II” and ran 147 miles an hour–on a street-legal bagger.
Rinehart Racing ran away with the S&S 124 Shootout, that S&S /
Hot Bike Magazine fiesta of speed and power. Wink Eller, Kim Suter, Kendall
Johnson and Jim Nasi were all put on the trailer by Rob Schoph of Hal’s
Harley-Davidson and his Rineharts. Supplied a sealed S&S engine and
a mandate that the only modifications allowed were to the exhaust system,
the timing and the electronic fuel injection, at the Friday night dyno
session Schoph came out top dog by a wide margin, and then on Saturday
after a 100-plus mile ride to the dragstrip he took top honors again. Schoph
didn’t just barely win, either. He beat the second place finisher
by an astounding 9 MPH.
“And all of that is why I do this,” says Gerald Rinehart, the
man behind these winning pipes. “I outrun people for a living. That’s
my job.” No kidding. He’s done it for the past 15 years in
NASCAR, and now, aided by the manufacturing expertise of BUB Enterprises
he’s doing it all over again with motorcycles.
The only source for all of this is Drag Specialties, and there are Rinehart
Racing exhausts in the FatBook for all the best-selling Harleys–Softails,
Dynas, baggers, V-Rods, and Sportsters. Every set of those readily available
Rineharts, whatever the application, will perform like you won’t
believe. Rinehart Racing exhausts have consistently proven able to pump
up a stock Harley’s horsepower and torque by a whopping 25-percent.
These pipes, along with a performance air filter and a little re-jetting
or re-mapping will bring a bone-stock Twin Cam clear up to 72-plus horsepower.
Along with that performance comes the rock-solid dependability and long-lasting
good looks you’ve come to expect from BUB, who actually manufacturers
these exhausts, and they sound like nothing else on the street. Rineharts
not only make power, they announce it with an unmistakable tone–kind
of like a NASCAR racer, which isn’t surprising since that’s
where it all started.
Put all that together and it’s no wonder
Rinehart Racing By BUB have become just about the most sought-after exhausts
on the market. And they’re
all available only through Drag Specialties dealers.

Rinehart technology merged with BUB style to create an exhaust with exceptional
performance, both on the drag strip and on the street. This exhaust, which
won multiple AHDRA Championships last season, is also capable of expanding
the horsepower and torque of a stock Harley by up to 25-percent.
