arts Unlimited’s Gary Cartwright took to the roadways this past June, visiting dealers in Lansing, Gaylord and Detroit, Michigan. The three seminars were well-attended, thanks to the efforts of Parts Unlimited Representatives Greg Simms and Mark Hull (Lansing), Jimmy Rauser (Gaylord) and Fred Hicks and Steve Wood (Detroit).
Attendees were treated to presentations by Gary Cartwright, who introduced Z1R’s Snow Rail and Strike helmets; Don Jensen, who showed off Arctiva’s brand-new Air line of apparel; Bruce Dashnaw from Camoplast, who debuted the company’s new Ice Claw track; NGK, whose representatives explained the merits of their new Iridium plugs and also gave all of the dealers a handy “Q-and-A” booklet; and Woody’s, who introduced dealers to their new Signature Series of studs. Representatives from Moose and CMP also were on hand.
The two-hour seminars were more than just informative; attending dealers also received a five percent discount off products ordered at the event.
Due to the outstanding success of these three seminars, Gary expects to conduct even more of them next year. Check with your Parts Unlimited rep to get all of the details!

Don Jensen leads Arctiva as Brand Manager.
ong-time snowmobile enthusiast Don Jensen has been enlisted to be Brand Manager for Parts Unlimited’s Arctiva line of snowmobile apparel.
Jensen’s extensive and multi-faceted experience in the snowmobile markets includes a 13-year stint with Fox Point Sportswear as Marketing Manager, as well as several years with the Polaris division of parts, apparel and accessories where he served as District Sales Manager for Lower Michigan.
Greg Blackwell, Parts Unlimited vice president of sales, said that Jensen’s prior experience with both the marketing and dealer aspects of the snow market made him the perfect choice for the Arctiva Brand Manager position.
“While aftermarket snow sales are of course more than a little dependent on snow itself—and that’s been a scarce commodity in recent seasons—the main aspect of continued growth for ourselves and our dealers really depends on active and experienced management,” Blackwell said. “Don’s familiarity with all aspects of this market will be a real asset in making sure that we maximize Arctiva’s potential in every sales season, with lots of snow or without.”
Officially on board as of Jan. 1, 2004, Jensen’s offices are located at the LeMans Corporation home office in Janesville, WI. He can be reached at (608) 758-1111.
“I am very excited to be at Parts Unlimited and back in my home state of Wisconsin,” Jensen said. “I am looking forward to helping develop Arctiva apparel into a profitable opportunity for our snowmobile dealers nationwide. With Parts Unlimited’s commitment to innovation, design, affordability, technical details, marketing, promotion coupled with the service and support of the sport, Arctiva is a brand consumers will be asking for.”
