Samson’s
new Zoomies give a custom look, without the custom price tag.
enny Samson knows
intuitively what bikers want, and it’s been that way for
13 years. When it comes to style—and especially sound—Samson’s
an instantly recognized brand name. Bikers ask for Samson, and
that sound, by name.
There’s plenty in the FatBook to give them, too. There are
28 sets of Samson pipes for Sportsters alone. Softail riders have
57 choices, and there are 56 pipe and muffler combinations for
the Road Kings and Dressers. The Dyna? Samson has 19 sets of pipes
there, eight more for the FXRs. There are even two Samson systems
for the venerable old Shovelhead.
Every last one of those genuine Samsons is affordable, too. And a great
value. Samson style and sound installs with a perfect fit every time,
and all mounting hardware is always included.
Big Guns are the pipes that started it all, and they’re still
incredibly popular. The reason is simple: Sound-wise the Samson Big
Guns are in a class by themselves. Street Sweepers, Ground Pounders,
Rip Saws, Shortys, Cannons and Long Cannons are household names. And
while the rage these days is stepped headers, Big Guns had ’em
all along; these nasty-sounding pipes start with a 1 3/4-inch diameter
that steps up into a big, booming 2 1/4-inches.
The Big Guns 2 take all that one generation further. Two hundred and
twenty degree head shields are included here, blending perfectly with
the whole system for a clean, fat-pipe look. All the original styles
are here, too, and many BG2 pipes offer different extensions that can
be interchanged. The Big Guns 2 even have pre-drilled holes for bikers
who might want to install the optional baffles.

The Caliber 2-into-1 performance pipes can boost horsepower and torque
by as much as 25 percent.
All that’s just a beginning. Samson “Extreme Series” pipes
define high style. Wild, show-bike pipes, they’ll give average
bikers on average budgets a real custom look without the custom
price tag. Samson is in on the True Dual craze, too, and Samson
True Duals are the only systems that keep the classic OEM straight
line on the right side. Samson Fishtails have an enviable style,
and the Rolled Thunder mufflers are great looking and great sounding
best-sellers.
There’s even more for ’04. There are new pipes for the
new Sportsters, Samson’s introduced Stealth Mufflers so touring
riders have the option of a free flowing slip-on without the noise,
and Samson’s just released trick heat shields for 3-inch
mufflers. These heat shields cover the discoloration and scratches
on all 3-inch mufflers, too, even OEM.
All this adds up to one thing, and it’s undeniable: Kenny Samson
knows what bikers want –and what they want to hear. Drag
Specialties carries it all.

Samson
style and sound is easy to install, and all of the mounting hardware
is included.
