The side frame covers retain the OEM ignition switch
location and come complete with all necessary hardware.

The front frame covers feature a louver in each and use the OEM mounting hardware.

The lower left frame cover also is supplied with hardware.

en minutes after legendary builder Don Hotop bought his V-Rod he had it up on the table making it better. The five-piece frame panel kit he came up with neatly covered a handful of eyesores on the V-Rod, places where the “Revolutionary Harley” just didn’t look finished.
These easily-installed panels, reproduced in tough, 1/8-in. ABS plastic and delivered ready to paint, give a V-Rod a much more pleasing line. They allow a lot more color to be added to the bike, too. The frame panels fit on both the left and right sides, covering the V-Rod’s exposed framework and the exposed fuel tank. The left-side panel extends from the bottom of the seat to the top of the belt guard, the right-side panel covers things to just above the swingarm. The OEM ignition-switch location is retained.
Two smooth and neatly scooped front panels replace the OE louvered pieces. Their design is more in keeping with this 21st century motorcycle. A fifth panel, fitting under the swingarm on the left side and concealing the bottom of the fuel tank, completes the package. Available as a kit or separately, the panels all pick up the lines of the bike perfectly.
Mounting is easy. The front panels use the OE hardware. The left- and right-side panels and that one lower panel require a few drilled-and-tapped holes in the frame tubes to accept small, 6-32 screws. That’s it. Except for the raves. Compare a stock V-Rod and one with the Drag/Hotop Panel Kit installed. It’s no contest. There’s a night and day difference, and that difference is in Drag Specialties’ warehouses now.
