ome motorcycles are just too good to let go. We’re talking bikes that were right when they were first introduced and haven’t lost any of their magic over the years. Bikes like the CB400F, the KZ900 and 1000, the V-Max, the GPZ550 and 750. Kerker was there when these machines were in their heyday, and Kerker’s there today with up-to-date exhausts allowing these classics to perform at their finest. The Kerker Meg Series, K-Series and Performance Series exhausts have this classic world covered, and as a bonus some of these timeless exhausts are also available for a few modern-era classics, machines paying homage to what’s come before. Kerker calls all this “fine wine,” and it’s an apt description—some things get better with age.

The K-Series exhaust is available in three finishes, white tip, black or chrome. Adjustable downturn tips also are available.

Kerker’s megaphone exhaust is a timeless 4-into-1 design that are available in classic black-painted steel, brushed stainless steel or chrome.

Talk about classic. Kerker’s megaphone exhaust is as classic as the bikes it’s made for. These timeless 4-into-1s uncork the power a performance machine’s capable of, and well they should. These megs are race-tuned and race-tested. This is the exhaust used by legends like Eddie Lawson and Wayne Rainey as they hustled their big Kawasakis to Superbike superstar status. Kerker Megs are available today, offered in the classic black-painted steel design, brushed stainless steel, or chrome. The application list is heavily weighted towards that Kawasaki camp, with systems available for machines dating clear back to the ’70s. And, of course, there are classic Kerker Megs for those modern-day Lawson Replica ZRX1100s and 1200s. There’s a Kerker Meg for one of the all-time-favorite Hondas, too, the CB750F, and all these pipes work like gangbusters—just like they always have. A Kerker Meg matches stock performance at low RPM, comes into its own at the mid-range, and peaks at more than 10 horsepower over stock at the top-end, sounding great all the way. Awesome.

Kerker says the “K” in this exhaust’s name stands for kick ass, and they’re not kidding. K-Series pipes are available for classic Hondas like the CB400F and V65 Magna, vintage Kawasakis like the GPZ550 and GPZ750 and there are K-Series pipes for the Yamaha V-Max, as well. They all help pump out up to a 12 percent increase in horsepower, and cut 10 to 25 pounds off the weight of the bike, improving cornering clearance in the process. K-Series systems are available in three finishes, too: white tip, black or chrome, and most models include adjustable turndown tips. Most systems retain unobstructed filter access and use of the stock centerstand, too. These beautifully finished 4-into-1s are a perfect match for a classic sportbike.

Kerker’s K-Series exhaust helps pump up a horsepower increase of 12 percent while cutting the bike’s total weight by 10 to 25 pounds.

Here’s where classic meets contemporary. Kerker Performance Series slip-ons and full systems neatly fit the best of the past into a modern, high-performance role. There’s a trio of canister options here, too. Performance Series silencers are available in brushed aluminum, karbon fiber and titanium, and they’re offered in elliptical or oval shapes, too. Performance Series exhausts are available for all the hot new Hondas, Kawasakis, Suzukis and Yamahas, future classics like the GSXRs, YZFs, CBRs, ZXs and ZRXs. There’s even a special gold-anodized titanium system developed especially for the ZRX1200.

Some bikes are just too good to let go, and some bikes are destined to attain that status. Either way, Kerker’s got the exhaust for it—just like always. Check with your Parts rep for ordering info.

treet extreme” takes sportbike riding to a new level, and we can thank the StarBoyz, that band of Ohio wildmen/stunt riders, for that. “StarBoyz By Kerker” silencers are exactly what’s needed for this kind of wheel-standing/donut-spinning/trick-riding fun, too, and well it should be; Kerker developed these canisters in conjunction with the StarBoyz themselves.
Shorter-than-stock, these slip-ons won’t touch down when the bike goes up. There’s a rude, in-your-face, street-smart tone to these cans, too, an extreme exhaust note to go with that extreme riding. Of course the overall look is tailored to street-extreme—it’s sportbike flash, with polished stainless steel tips and those tips are even rolled to the inside for a beefy look. Kerker’s finished it off with a bright and bold StarBoyz/Kerker logo.
StarBoyz silencers fit all the right bikes, the GSXR600s, 750s and 1000s, Honda’s CBR600, 900 and 954, and the Yamaha YZF R1 and R6. They’re available in a couple of versions, too, a round 18-inch can in either aluminum or karbon fiber, or a cut-down 16-inch elliptical version, also offered in aluminum or karbon fiber.
Street-extreme is exciting stuff, and these Kerkers help make it happen. Parts Unlimited has them all in stock, ready to go.
