new winch especially for them, too, and it’s a winch built to do
a job. A big brother to the popular new-generation Warn ATV winches, the
4.0ci is larger, it’s more powerful, and in fact it won’t
even fit on a standard ATV. This winch isn’t for sport. It’s
made for work, and it comes with all the muscle to prove it.The heart of the new 4.0ci is a big 1.5 hp high-torque motor. It’s a bruiser. This motor will pull the 55 feet of wire rope (standard and included in the package) with enough speed, power, and torque to take on just about anything. Whether it’s a self-recovery job like extracting that utility vehicle from a ditch or a mud bog, or it’s moving a pile of downed trees, the powerhouse 4.0ci tackles it with ease. This winch comes with a rated line pull of 4000 pounds—serious power. Installing, wiring and using the 4.0ci is easy. Warn, Moose and CMP all have the mounts available to solidly connect this powerhouse winch to all the popular utility vehicles. The 4.0ci also features Warn’s Express Install™ wiring system and comes with a specially designed Contactor Pack. Those Express Install™ color-coded wires make the electrical connections fast and easy, and the Contactor Pack is small, rugged, well sealed and ready for hard work. The battery leads (also included) are heavy-duty 6-gauge cables and the 4.0ci’s hand-held remote control has a 10-foot lead and it’s all-weather-protected. The Warn 4.0ci is supplied with 55 feet of 7/32-inch diameter wire rope, its freespooling clutch is cam-activated and there’s an automatic mechanical brake. This is a no-fooling-around complete package, a powerhouse winch designed specifically for utility vehicles like the Ranger and Rhino, the Mule and the Gator. And as indispensable as those machines are in their element, the new Warn 4.0ci ups the ante—and then some. That beefed-up 1.5 hp motor delivers all the pulling power, torque and line-speed needed to breeze through just about any job thrown at it. And the 4.0ci is good looking. An Argent gray powder coat finish will keep it that way, too. On top of all this Warn backs up the new 4.0ci with a tough-to-beat limited lifetime warranty.
