hand-drawn, hand-applied asymmetrical monster graphics!
rop
what you’re doing and get your Parts rep on the phone. You’re
definitely going to want to have Thor’s “Distortion”
SVR Helmet in the shop, but this is a limited-edition offering
so you have to act fast. The “Distortion” is the slickest
graphic Thor’s ever applied to a helmet. It’s guaranteed
to stop customers in their tracks and immediately get them thinking
helmets. Talk about a sales booster!
It all begins with a top-of-the-line Thor
SVR helmet, this time starting with a mirrorized black-chrome base.
That’s followed up with the wildest hand-drawn, hand-applied asymmetrical
monster graphics you’ll find! A final clear coat adds the deep
finish and brilliant luster this once-in-a-lifetime helmet deserves.
The “Distortion” is going to have motocross customers thinking
helmets, and for $299.95 they can have this one.
Of course the Distortion is about more
than looks. This is an SVR helmet, Thor’s best. It’s constructed
of Aramid, fiberglass, and Dyneema for super strength and real weight
savings. An SVR has the right balance, the right feel and the right
stability. It’s all-moto-long comfortable, and thanks to a new
Coolmax liner it stays cool and dry. There are twin air channels molded
in, too, maximizing airflow. More SVR refinements include a molded polyurethane
chin-bar liner with a mesh/foam mouth grate to keep dust and dirt out
while allowing air in, and there’s a reshaped—and removable/washable—liner
with a crown comfort pad. Thor didn’t miss a trick. Of course
the SVR exceeds Snell M2000 and DOT standards. The liner even has dual-density
styrene for increased safety. Couple all of that with Thor styling,
seven bold graphic designs to choose from, a free stabilizer fin, decal
kit, and helmet bag as part of the deal, and you’ve got the ultimate
moto helmet.
Almost. That limited-edition “Distortion”
model has to hold that title. It’s also the helmet that’s
going to get guys thinking SVR, so act fast and get it in the shop.

Thor’s
Hot Wheels line is targeted toward the youth market.
And
don’t stop there. Ask about some of the other new stuff from Thor.
Like the Static Gear. Here’s a pant and jersey
combo guaranteed to win fans. The Static’s zip-off style
Freeride Pant is perfect for riding in almost any terrain.
There’s a 1000 denier nylon seat panel, and combined with double-
and triple-needle stitching throughout it makes this pant extremely
durable. There are ballistic nylon inner-leg panels to keep the heat
out, lower-leg boot gaitors to keep debris out. The pant has plenty
of storage, too; there are three zippered pockets with pull-tabs, and
an adjustable buckle-closure ensures a great fit. The Static Pant just
might be the most versatile riding pant Thor’s ever made. There’s
a jersey to go with it, too, constructed of 100-percent polyester micro-mesh.
It’s a V-neck collar/raglan-style pattern with comfortable 3/4-length
sleeves. This gear is perfect for riders heading out to the sand dunes,
the desert, the backwoods and the trails. It comes in a couple of color
choices, Black/White and Khaki/Black, and it’s priced right, $79.95
for the pant, $29.95 for the jersey.

Thor’s Static Pants are exceptionally versatile, making them perfect
for just about any riding situation.

Optimum cooling is the name of the game with the Static Jersey, which
is made of 100 percent polyester micro-mesh.
Summer’s
coming up, too, and that means AC Gear. You want plenty of that on the
shelf. Nothing keeps a rider cooler than the AC Gear from Thor, both
the pant and the jersey. Starting with that incredible Core Pant, they’ve
re-worked the pattern to incorporate breathable mesh front and rear.
Those mesh panels provide excellent airflow, and a tightly woven backing
keeps out sand and roost. There’s a ratchet-style waist closure
for an easy fit, a rear yoke for lower-back support, Neoprene hip panels
for protection, and the leather inner-knee heat shields are treated
to withstand water, heat and abrasion. All this retails for $150, and
it’s matched with an equally cool jersey. The AC5 Jersey is sewn-up
with 100-percent breathable mesh polyester, there are shoulder action-panels,
there’s a V-neck collar with a sweat-absorption band, and there
are comfort knit cuffs. Retailing for $40, this is the jersey for warm-weather
riding. There’s an AC Glove, too, the coolest, most flexible glove
Thor offers. The retail is $25.

The AC Glove is exceptionally flexible.

The
mesh panels in the front and rear of the AC Core Pant enhance airflow
while also keeping out sand and roost.

Designed for warm-weather riding, the AC5 Jersey features 100-percent
breathable mesh polyester, shoulder action-panels and comfort knit cuffs.
Now, want to have some fun? Ask your rep
about the Thor “Hot Wheels” Gear. This stuff’s a kick.
Riding gear aimed at kids of all ages, it’s a special-edition/officially-licensed
deal. The “Hot Wheels” gear—pant, jersey and glove—is
available in all the youth and adult sizes, and it all has that “Hot
Wheels” logo. But coming from Thor it also has all the great features
of the 2004 Phase Gear, and there are a couple of color combinations
offered (Blue/Yellow and Red/Yellow). Imagine the smiles this gear will
get.
Talk to your rep about all of this, and don’t waste time. The
riding season is almost here, Thor has the gear—and remember that
“Distortion” helmet, the one that’s going to be a
real traffic builder, is a limited-edition.
